We are staying in a bungalow. Since the bungalows are quite close together, the smell of smoke from the neighboring veranda wafts over. We pointed this out after check-in, even before moving into the holiday apartment. The staff seems largely unconcerned ("Smoking is allowed"). This gives me the impression of a lack of family-friendliness, and the staff appeared not to make much effort to assign us a different bungalow at check-in (#32 seemed to be available and is exactly the same).

We stayed at this campsite for two weeks. We had a nicely located pitch, with electricity and water at the site. Short distances to the sanitary building or the beach. On the Veerse Meer, I could indulge in my hobby of stand-up paddling. The sanitary area was mostly rather dirty, we were glad that we had our own toilet! The swimming pool and indoor pool are very nice and clean.

The campsite is highly recommended for young and old alike, especially for water sports enthusiasts. We had a pitch with our own sanitary facilities. The staff were all very friendly. The restaurant and indoor pool are also highly recommended. There is a very large playground and many smaller ones throughout the site. Everything is very new. As suggestions for improvement, we have the following: 1. Pitches that are reinforced in case of rain, like the one we had. There was a medium-sized lake in the tent. 2. If the sanitary block had been cleaned in advance. For comfort, I cleaned the walls, door, etc. myself. 3. The Wi-Fi could definitely be better.

We were there for the first time for 4 days with 2 children (2 and 5) without our dog. We had a comfort pitch that was large enough. Unfortunately, we were rebooked on the day of arrival because our pitch was allegedly underwater. Unfortunately, we could not see the water, but we were quite satisfied with the alternative pitch. Unfortunately, we had booked a special pitch so that the route to the wash house and playground would not be too far, but this was no longer the case with the alternative pitch, as it was further away than we wanted. - Playground at the beach great, the kids had a lot of fun - partly not clean and very cold sanitary facilities, toilets mainly outside the building, very cold in the building after showering - Showers also flooded changing room (dry clothes wet after showering) - great surroundings and a super playground - okay in good weather, on rainy days too boring I think - with small children it is a long walk to the next wash house.

Corona or not, the virus ultimately changes nothing about the maintenance of the site and the investments. We booked two weeks close to the beach/promenade. Unfortunately, God did not show mercy and it poured down in the first week as if from buckets, which led to our caravan along with the tent being flooded due to insufficient (defective) drainage. But we did have a sea view, so the annoyance was kept to a minimum. It was also always nice when we returned from shopping and had to search for a parking space since each motorhome naturally came with an additional car, which was parked in the very sparse parking spaces. But whatever, we did have a sea view... It's great that the operator has put a lot of money into the area and built a new swimming pool as well as a new reception with a supermarket. Right, a supermarket, why do you then have to drive nearly 6 kilometers to AH or Aldi? Well, because the supermarket has hardly anything to offer apart from rolls. "Roll service" would best describe it, but whatever, we did have a sea view... The condition of the entire facility left much to be desired, the paths were overgrown, the parking lots too, with a change of campers one should ideally mow, but that was a no-show, mowing was done in the operation, which produced bumps and damaged tents. That was when our sea view replacement was over and we set our bicycles crosswise. How good that the staff of the site were not communicative or mobile. English or German was also nowhere to be found with them, really great. We are sorry dear operator, but since you also did not respond to the reviews on your own homepage, we only have the way to make it known here. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was shockingly poor, which we did not experience last year. And to be honest, a sea view is not everything.
