We visited this campsite on our way to Greece in April and chose to return on our way back. It's beautifully situated by a shallow river where you can wade comfortably. The camping spots are nicely spread out across the grounds, and thanks to the many trees, there is plenty of shade. The owners are professional and businesslike. The campsite accepts the ACSI card, but during our stay in June, unexpected administrative fees were charged. This was not the case in April, making the situation a bit unclear. Occasionally, a train passes by the campsite, even at night. We didn't find this very bothersome. A downside is the presence of some permanent caravans. They appear old and unsightly, which detracts from the charm of this otherwise beautiful campsite.

ACSI discount low season: YES. WIFI: free only at the bar. What a fantastic campsite! It’s small, idyllic, and rustic, situated by a wonderful (swimming) river. Beautifully located among the trees with pitches right by the water (we could choose ourselves). Good sanitation facilities. They are not heated, so it was still cold in April when we visited. There is an extra sanitation building for when it gets very busy in the summer. There are water taps in various locations around the campsite, but unfortunately, these were not usable in April due to the risk of frost. You can use wood for an entire day for €10 to keep a fire in the available fire bowl. It is also suitable for barbecuing. A beautiful area for walking and cycling. The nature and the villages are lovely to explore by bike. At every turn, there’s a new postcard-worthy view. It’s not touristy, so we didn’t see any terraces (a pity).
