The campsite is spotlessly clean. The staff, including reception, gardeners, and cleaning crew for the sanitary facilities, are very friendly and helpful. This was one of the reasons we have already booked for next year. Unfortunately, the pitches are very tight. I spoke with many campers who feel the same way. The trend is to have a bit more space with neighbors rather than finding one's own belongings on one's own pitch because they can’t help it. This was our first campsite in 10 years that was this cramped. And we have been to many campsites. If there were a bit more space, it would be a 6-star campsite.

We have been there for the second time. This time I found it poorly organized - the parking space was blocked by a vehicle, and we had to first remove the foreign car with the owner's permission. The boundary of the site was not clearly marked. Previously, we were at another campsite in Constance, where someone from the site rode ahead on a bicycle and clearly indicated how to park and where the boundary is as well as what to consider. It would also be helpful to learn in advance that swimming is not advisable - little water in the lake; nobody is to blame, but a tip would not have gone amiss, especially since I had asked a question about it in an earlier email. Perhaps someone should be sent around the site once a day to do a bit of monitoring.

Everything is very clean. It’s a pity that the restaurant is closed for two days due to a wedding, and unfortunately it’s on the weekend. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The internet could be better.

Located directly on the shores of Lake Constance and with a fantastic view of the picturesque old town island of Lindau, the natural Park-Camping Lindau campsite awaits its guests. Despite its dream location, the campsite is rather quiet. In the high season, however, it is advisable to book well in advance to get one of the coveted pitches.
At Park-Camping Lindau, the name says it all: the campsite is located in a picturesque parkland setting away from the crowds of tourists - perfect for a holiday in nature without having to compromise on comfort. The almost 300 pitches in the shade of old trees are generously sized and offer plenty of space to spread out. In addition to an electricity connection, the pitches in the upper category have water, waste water and television connections. Almost all pitches are also suitable for motorhomes. Campers with tents have their own tent pitch, while the modern sanitary facilities have family bathrooms and a special area for children. Cooking and washing-up facilities as well as washing machines are available for self-catering campers. Dogs are welcome on the site and have their own dog showers. Fresh bread rolls, groceries and other daily (camping) necessities are available in the well-stocked self-service market. In the "Strandhaus" restaurant, TV chef Klaus Winter spoils his guests with excellent à la carte dishes and a varied lunch buffet. WLAN is available free of charge throughout the campsite.
The location in the beautiful bay with its fantastic natural beach makes the campsite an ideal destination for water lovers. In addition to bathing enthusiasts, anglers, canoeists and kayakers also appreciate the dream location and the many opportunities for water sports. While the parents relax on the beach on Lake Constance, the children are looked after by the professional children's entertainment team in the high season. There is also a large playground with seesaws, slides and swings. Sporty guests can compete in beach volleyball or basketball. There is also a well-equipped games room with billiards, table football and pinball machines.
The idyllic campsite site is located almost directly on the Austrian border and just a few kilometres from Lindau town centre. The Swiss border is also not far away - perfect for exciting excursions in the border triangle on Lake Constance. A visit to the idyllic old town island of Lindau in the immediate vicinity of the campsite is definitely a must. The best way to reach it is via the Lindau riverside hiking trail, which runs past the campsite. The 4.3 km circular route around the island is ideal for sightseeing. Highlights include the Old Lighthouse, the Powder Tower and the Old Town Hall. Active holidaymakers will also get their money's worth. Cyclists can join the 210 km long Lake Constance cycle path, cross the border to Bregenz or take a tour to Friedrichshafen, 26 km away. Lake Constance is also a very popular region for hikers. The scenic 4-hill tour, which starts in Bodolz and leads to the enchanting Hoyerberg vantage point with its fantastic panoramic views, is particularly recommended.
