bad: Only one sanitary building, no shop - only vending machine (almost empty), rolls only on preorder (until 5 PM), no phone reception on German networks. Prescribed setup direction, weak wifi and doesn't always work, sink clogged (ladies), electricity fee 6€/day Good: large spots, wifi for 5 people without limit, cleanliness in men’s area TIP: Bring a bike!

The place has a great location with direct beach access, the reception was very friendly and the spots are also nice… you can’t complain about that… The strange part is the waste disposal… here there’s a distinction made between green (free) and blue… blue costs an additional 5 euros for the pitch and 10 euros deposit! What is absolutely unacceptable is the black mold on the walls and ceilings of the ladies' showers… widespread… disgusting… This has deterred us so much that we are glad we only booked 2 days and we will not return to this place…

First of all, the positive things: in May it was very quiet here, we stood with the camper simultaneously with three others for three days on a nice terrain for 12 campers. The beach café where you can pre-order rolls is great, the staff is very nice (also at the reception), the beach is reachable in two minutes. But: 300 meters to the sanitary house, unfortunately only one for the whole area and it has also aged - but clean. For personal hygiene and using the toilet it’s not a big problem if you have a bicycle. But for rinsing that’s an absolute no-go! This also leads to a lower rating of the sanitary facilities. There isn’t a shop where you can buy small everyday necessities. The nearest shopping opportunity is in Glücksburg, 15-20 minutes by bike.

Superb reception. Fast and competent. The washhouse was indeed very out of the way, but clean! It did often smell strong, but it was clean. In the washing area, there is a microwave and a gas stove, which is free for cyclists and hikers.

The place is beautifully located close to the sea, and the layout of the site is nicely designed. The staff has a lot of room for improvement regarding friendliness. The sanitary facilities are acceptable. However, for such a large place, having only one washhouse is a bit scarce.

I was only on site for 5 days (3.5 days) at OSTSEEMAN at the beginning of August with a camper. The pitch with electricity connection was big enough, the path to the beach with beach bistro was nice and short, the path to the sanitary facilities was a bit longer. The sanitary facilities were absolutely clean, daily cleaning. The beach bistro bar is new & nice. Wi-Fi and mobile reception in the O2 network was rather poor. My short trip was absolutely okay, but I cannot assess how it is over 2-3 weeks in the main season.

The place is somewhat aging, but those looking for peace and relaxation close to the beach are in the right spot. No luxury and no entertainment, but a place right by the beach. Café and roll delivery right on site, and the nearest supermarket is in Glücksburg, just a stone's throw away even by bike. Right by the Danish coast, the surrounding area offers many opportunities for hiking, cycling, or just relaxing. All in all, a nice campsite without much frills, ideal for a family holiday.

The location is the only thing that earns this place 4 stars. Great starting point for the sea and nature. The facility itself is aging, and the toilets and shower areas (I am speaking here for the "ladies" side) are not only dirty but disgusting. With the size of the facility, there shouldn’t be only one end with the sanitary facilities and the other end for waste disposal. The staff at the reception also seemed overworked because they were quite "grouchy".
