Camping ORBITUR Sagres

By far the worst place of our Portugal tour. Showers only with ice-cold water. It stinks from the drain🤬. Water pressure is just a moist water mist. Fittings and showers are from a previous time. No renovations have been done in recent years. How can you run a place like this? The access to the pitches is like a field with countless mud puddles. To charge such an outrageous price is more than indecent. The only positive is the reception team.

Unfriendly reception lady. During the check-in, she always used the imperative. You must take care, you must come back, you have to take care, you can’t do... and so on... Her young assistant and helper on the street was just as unfriendly as the boss. The sanitary facilities are very dirty, coat hooks and storage areas are broken off the walls. Shower heads are calcified. In short, the infrastructure matched the communication style of the boss. Too bad for the beautifully landscaped piece of forest. Wi-Fi is also only available near the reception. Moreover, it was the most expensive camping site among the already visited 14 sites in Portugal.

The campsite is located in the middle of a forest, away from road and town. Absolutely quiet! You can choose your own pitch. Not all pitches have an electrical connection. Many pitches are on a slope. To get a good pitch, you should not arrive too late in the day. Sanitary facilities are clean, and there is a large supermarket in the village. ACSI is accepted.

Extended twice. Absolutely great place. Some pitches have inclines but there are also some level ones. Free choice of pitch. Staff very friendly and helpful. Many speak German. Sanitary facilities clean. Surroundings beautiful. Restaurant on site highly recommended. Restaurants and supermarket are within walking distance. We would love to come back.

Natural wooded area, loose campsites among trees, sometimes inclines not compensatable by ramps. Away from settlements.

Everything went smoothly. In solitary nature. City and Capo accessible by bike, but nothing on foot. Recommended.

The site has a beautiful location, but is heavily neglected. The access paths are hardly passable with a camper van because the potholes and bumps are massive. The showers were ice cold in the morning - there was no hot water! However, the staff at the reception is very friendly.
