A steadily improving place with exceptionally friendly and competent hosts. A place to simply arrive, with uncomplicated site selection and good infrastructure. Roll service, snacks, and delicious breakfast. Good starting point for hikers and cyclists. Good connection to public transport / Heidelberg. Supermarket within walking distance.

We keep coming back to this beautiful place because we really like it. There are no cramped plots and you can really relax. In the area, there are many opportunities for activities. There is a small bistro where you can get delicious food and enjoy a meal and drink pleasantly after a hike. The sanitary facilities are very clean and were newly renovated not long ago. We feel very comfortable there and are always happy to return.

The campsite with a special flair and relaxed atmosphere right by the water - we regularly go there on weekends with our camper.

We had booked a pitch for 2 days, which we were even able to extend to 3 days at very short notice. The reception was very friendly, we could park our camper on a gravel spot. The entire facility is not divided into parcels, the interaction worked very well in our case, even with a dog, of which there were many on site. Electricity will be billed separately at the end of the stay. Use of the modern and clean sanitary facilities is included in the price. We did not take advantage of the water sports opportunities, but there would be activities here if you do not mind the large boats passing by. There is certainly plenty of space for hiking and cycling in the area. For us, the price-performance ratio is correct, we will definitely come back.

We come twice a year to camp at the River Camp. Every time we come, we find improvements that make camping even more enjoyable. The sanitary facilities are always clean and tidy, as is the entire site. There is a roll service in the morning. The two operators are simply nice, polite, and very accommodating, always ready to help. We always travel with two children and three dogs.

We went hiking in the area last year and set up our tent there for about a week. The facility was very well-kept and clean, including the showers etc. The location was ideal for our purposes. The operators were very friendly and helpful. And the small local bistro is also really recommendable.

Our first visit was spontaneous and without much research. However, we feel so comfortable that we have been coming here for 4 years now 👍
