Neckarcamping Tübingen

Very conveniently located for a city sightseeing. Flat terrain, friendly staff, and quick service. Sanitary facilities in very good condition and still quite new.

We were very satisfied. The tenant was very friendly and helpful. I cannot understand the ADAC's rating.

The campsite surprised us very positively, as the 2.5-star rating from ADAC is quite modest. In fact, the campsite is located close to the city and is still quiet, right by the Neckar. The sanitary facilities are top-notch, and the campsite manager is extremely nice and helpful.

Idyllic campsite located directly on the Neckar. Here you can relax. Everything is well maintained. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The sanitary facilities are up to date, spacious, and very clean. The campsite in Tübingen is worth a trip.

Well-signposted bumpy approach through residential area at the end of which the campsite is located. With the campsite barrier closed, there are no parking or stopping options for cars, motorhomes, or even trailers in front. Why is this not open all day long to avoid the problem? Check-in after lunch break? No reservations possible. Friendly intern at the reception. Site manager from friendly to rude in dealing with his guests. Small, no clear boundaries, flat grass/gravel pitches in the front part of the campsite above the Neckar, quiet location, separated for motorhomes and caravans. Lower lying, overgrown difficult to reach bank, there partially smelly grass and hedge cuttings. Sanitary facilities in decent condition as long as you don't let your gaze wander up or down, order rolls in advance, clear price list, no tourist tax, weak free WiFi. Restaurant, more snack bar, with a very limited menu. Bike rental station in front of the campsite without bicycles. Tübingen city center about 2 km away easily reachable on foot, by bike or by bus. Parking cars and storing bikes in Tübingen is difficult. Price, well, I know cheaper campsites.

We were only there for one night with the camper but found it very nice. Very friendly staff, sanitary facilities were fine, and it wasn't far to the old town.
