Marstrands Camping

The power connection is directly available at the parking space. WiFi is unfortunately only available for free at the campsite reception, which is no longer quite up-to-date. The washrooms and toilets are available in sufficient numbers and are cleaned daily. Showers for 5 SEK/4 minutes are reasonable and sufficient. When showering in a large room, privacy is only separated by curtains. Undressing, changing, and storing clothes and personal belongings happen in the large room, which we believe is no longer modern. We only used the kitchen for washing dishes, a stove and microwave are available but must be paid for separately. The kitchen is always very clean and in good condition. Play opportunities for large and small children and a mini-golf course are available. A mini football facility is currently under construction.

Very nice location in the archipelago and with access to the sea. The marina is about 2km away and easily accessible. Wooden terraces at some spots, otherwise grass or gravel. Reception is friendly and helpful regarding the choice of site. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated but clean.

The campsite certainly impresses with its location. From the site, you can make a beautiful hike around the island of Koön. The ferry port is about 800 m away. The site is also quite nicely laid out. The pitches are level and leveling wedges are not necessary. Some pitches have a wooden terrace. The sanitary facilities are better than they appear. It is possible to service and empty the motorhome. It is worth noting that during our stay at the campsite, the sanitary facilities were not cleaned. Additionally, the service at the reception leaves much to be desired. It is only open early in the morning from nine to 10:00 AM. However, a later check-in is easily possible by phone.

Unfortunately only when one takes care of personal hygiene in the motorhome. And much too expensive for that.

Somewhat lacking enthusiasm during check-in. Not unfriendly, but also not nice. No choice of seat. We were assigned a gravel spot, even though many other, much more pleasant spots with wooden terraces were still free. Okay for one night to visit Marsstrand. Not recommended for a longer stay.
