What was good? A relatively large dog beach. Poop bags available in some places on the premises. What was bad: the plots are very small and separated by hedges. Anyone coming with a caravan who wants to set up a awning should think carefully about it here. The sanitary facilities are simply old and normally 30 years behind. I don't understand why the ADAC rates this positively. There seems to be unmotivated service staff who do clean, but it remains disgusting! Payment must be made directly upon arrival; I haven't experienced that anywhere else on our trip. Only card payment is accepted here. The restaurant is way too expensive and not at all designed for the mass of customers. There is a small Eurospar and a shop with beach equipment. Friendly staff at the reception. We are leaving after one day because it is not worth it!

For the size of the campsite and the Aqua Park, the sanitary facilities are too small...

+ Dogs are welcome. + The staff at the reception is friendly and helpful, and can also speak other languages (It, En, De). + The small shop offers enough. + The campsite is close to the beach. + Dogs are allowed on the beach but - Dogs are not allowed on the entire beach section. Where there are no people, dogs are prohibited; where there are people and dogs would be allowed, one is insulted and told to go somewhere else with the dog… + There is a pool, however - You have to pay additionally and it’s not exactly cheap for the small offerings you receive. - There is only one large sanitary facility for the whole campsite, depending on where your pitch is, you should set off early to go for a walk. There are 12 toilets and about 5 standing toilets there. - The staff, except for one worker, were friendly, but they could only speak Italian. - The pitches are very small. - Everything is payment by card, cash is refused, and you were not informed of this in advance. +/- Hygiene could be better, however many guests are disgusting and you would need staff to check after each toilet visit, because some simply cannot go to the toilet cleanly… We are 2 adults and a dog traveling in a tent with the dimensions 6x3.5.

The place is small and perfectly located by the sea! We have been here twice with our children (13 & 3). I only saw my 13-year-old for meals and when changing from wet to dry clothes; he could just as well have been sleeping on the soccer/basketball court/pool area. This area is perfectly beautiful and everything is central! Everything is connected and reachable within a few steps, just like the restaurant/bar/ice cream section/playground/reception/shop/info point/WiFi hotspot/miniclub/stage/gaming room... and everything else there is!!!!! We stayed in a mobile home in 2018 and 2019, and we really couldn't complain, EXCEPT that every terrace should have a gate as it's nicer when you have children - to close it off, so you can cook inside, for example, without constantly having to check if your little one is still there. We had a mobile home with 3 rooms and we felt very comfortable. Everything you need, plenty of space. Shopping can be done after a 10-minute (if at all) drive to Monfalcone (Lidl and others also open on Sundays) which is cheaper than on the campsite. The beach is not only sand but also grass, which I personally found great. The beach is just a jump from the campsite. The operators make an effort to keep the beach perfect (and it is) every day a tractor comes to clear everything away that nature washes up, but it is beautiful because you can walk far out into the sea (my little one who is 3 walked out to the buoys at low tide).

The campsite is mainly run by Italians and visited by them. Directly on the beach, beautiful pool area, still relatively personal and not oversized. Although there was construction work there in the summer of 2017 with construction noise, we would still come back. Overall a nice vacation.

The location of the site is certainly debatable. Some say it's at the bosom of nature, others say it's at the ass end of the world. The fact is that there is hardly anything going on around. The site itself would be quite nice if it weren't for the catastrophic conditions in the sanitation area: The showers partly provide a Kneipp function, albeit certainly unintentionally. Feet are nicely soaked in some cabins, because the water flows in from above significantly faster than it flows out below. The toilets are no better. In the only shower house on the site, there are 14 toilet cubicles for men. Of those, 5 are missing toilet seats, 2 cannot be locked, and 3 were permanently locked. Whether they were locked because they were broken or if someone had a perpetual bowel issue, I cannot judge. Cleaning is done regularly, but only the floors; the walls always have the same squashed mosquitoes hanging on both the showers and the toilets. There is a restaurant on the site, and the service here is atrocious. Orders were forgotten multiple times, and the food often took so long that there were several shards of glass lying on the ground in the outdoor area, which is not optimal for small children. The food itself is quite good, although not inexpensive. The crew reacts little to suggestions; the issue of toilets was raised several times, but apparently, no one sees themselves capable of quickly driving to the hardware store to get some toilet seats. They just said that they were probably stolen. Seriously: what do you do with a toilet seat that has already had thousands of asses on it? Maybe as a picture frame since the family photo in the dining room has turned out to be 'shit'? As a souvenir for sitting on the sausage in the supermarket for 2 hours beforehand? The guys and gals from animation were super friendly. You are always addressed nicely when you have a small child; they always have a smile ready, great. For a few days as a stopover, it might all be okay, at least until the Sagrotan towels run out.

Actually a nice place and quite affordable at 35,-EUR for 2 adults and 2 children (12+14) with a Camping Key. The only downside is the sanitary facilities. They are clean but quite outdated and partly damaged or out of service. The pool area is currently being expanded. It will certainly look very nice. Today (Sunday) with 35°C everything was overflowing, including the beach.

Relax on the beach, let off steam in the children's pool and swim laps in the Olympic-sized sports pool: The Marina Julia Family Collection is the ideal holiday home for water nymphs alone. The family-friendly campsite on the Gulf of Trieste also boasts a wide range of sports activities and a mini club.
Individual holidays in the countryside: this is what the spacious Marina Julia Family Collection promises. A green idyll of trees and bushes, flowering shrubs and hedges awaits camping guests in the east of Italy. The site measures 14 hectares and has 250 parcelled-out pitches for guests. With an area of between 60 and 100 square metres, these are sufficiently large and each individual pitch is equipped with an electricity and water connection. Dogs are also welcome on almost all pitches, and families with children are particularly welcome on the campsite, which is lively during the day and pleasantly quiet at night. The entertainment programme at the seasonal Marina Julia Family Collection miniclub offers a variety of activities for all girls and boys aged four to ten. Teenagers and adults can join the daytime entertainment programme, which mainly consists of sports activities. Speaking of sport: one of the highlights of the pool area is the Olympic pool. The water paradise also offers a baby pool and a children's pool, a lazy river and a pool with water slides. Of course, all that splashing around makes you hungry, but that doesn't mean guests have to fire up the hob in their motorhome. Instead, camping fans can take a seat in the local restaurant and pizzeria and order delicious Italian dishes.
