The campsite was still fully booked after a weekend, but the owner managed to arrange a pitch with electricity for me. The campsite is located right by the lake, I went on 2 kayak tours. The sanitary facilities are old but always clean.

The campsite clearly stands out due to its very nice location by the lake, and it is a 2 km walk to the village of Mariefred. Here, you will also find Gripsholm Castle. However, the site has aged and the sanitary facilities need renovation. They are, however, always clean and in good condition. Supplying the camper is problem-free. The pitches are sufficiently large but not always level. Wedges are required. Recommended for a few days.

Definitely reserve one of the 4 spots directly by the lake if possible! There is everything you need: a small mini-golf area, a swimming jetty with a small beach and wooden stands, sanitary facilities that are simple but clean, friendly staff, Gripsholm Castle and Mariefred within walking distance (about 3 km), affordable.... Everything top-notch!

Beautiful location right by the lake, with a view of Gripsholm Castle from the beach. Mariefred can be reached via a nice car-free 4 km long path in 15 minutes by bike or on foot. In addition to the impressive castle, a trip on the museum train is a must. It is lovingly and faithfully maintained. Generally an ideal starting point for excursions in the Mälaren or a day trip to Stockholm, which is about 70 km away. The sanitary facilities are older but clean. Price is reasonable. We stayed here for 4 nights and would come back.

Considering the constant price increase over many years, it can be assumed that investments were made accordingly. The sanitation facilities have remained virtually unchanged for two decades and are insufficient for the size of the area. Feelings simply have to be left aside.

A wonderful, peaceful, magnificent place. One of our favorite sites. The owner is super friendly and cheerful, so we felt immediately welcome. The site is pleasantly quiet and beautifully located directly at Lake Mälaren with a view of Gripsholm Castle. We had a romantic barbecue by the calm lake in the evening and enjoyed our breakfast at one of the wooden tables by the idyllic lake in the morning. Wonderful for canoeing. We can highly recommend this site. Electricity, fresh water, grey water and black water, waste, kitchen, WiFi, communal shower, and children's playgrounds are free and easily accessible at any time. Extra charge for mini golf (SEK 50)

The campsite was very quiet and idyllic, right next to Lake Mälaren. The campsite was simple, but well maintained. From the beach at the campsite, there is a beautiful view of Gripsholm Castle. The size of the pitch was adequate. The ground was grass. The sanitary facilities were somewhat older, but well maintained and always clean, as was the small kitchen. The two owners/employees were very friendly.
