The campsite clearly stands out due to its very nice location by the lake, and it is a 2 km walk to the village of Mariefred. Here, you will also find Gripsholm Castle. Definitely reserve one of the 4 spots directly by the lake if possible! Ideal Starting Point in the Mälaren
Beautiful location right by the lake, with a view of Gripsholm Castle from the beach. Mariefred can be reached via a nice car-free 4 km long path in 15 minutes by bike or on foot. A Beautiful Location is One Thing, Price Performance is Another
Considering the constant price increase over many years, it can be assumed that investments were made accordingly. The sanitation facilities have remained virtually unchanged for two decades and are insufficient for the size of the area. Feelings simply have to be left aside.

Aside from the operators' wish to walk barefoot in the showers (which I don't think is very hygienic), a very good place.
