Mainpark Nizza

We were disappointed with the stay. The sanitary facilities were not clean and clearly outdated. The reception was often unattended, and when asking questions, you felt more like a nuisance than welcome. The place itself had potential but looked neglected. We were particularly disturbed by the noise level in the evenings - there was hardly any chance for peace. For the price, we have experienced much better campsites. Unfortunately, we do not recommend it.

After we tried it in Frankfurt and could not establish contact with other places nearby FF, we were promised a free spot here, so we went. It should not be a mistake. The operator waited especially for our arrival, showed us our spot, introduced us to the campsite, and provided us with additional information, such as where we can go for a nice meal. And the operator is a very nice person; you quickly feel at ease with him. The price includes everything, although it seems a bit high for the sporadic and aging facilities. An adjacent restaurant can certainly be used for dinner (we didn’t), but we recommend the Anglerheim (OK, this recommendation comes from the operator, but we confidently pass it on). Plenty of food, delicious, reasonably priced. In our opinion, Hanau itself has nothing special.
