The famous castles of Cheverny, Beauregard and Chambord can be reached on cycle paths and roads with little traffic. The vineyards of Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny, where Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and other grape varieties thrive, are located around the Lodges de Blois-Chambord. Blois, 13 kilometres away, delights culture fans with its famous castle, where many kings have resided. The colourful Denis-Papin staircase is also a popular photo motif.
