In the middle of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site, First Camp Lakolk Strand-Rømø offers pure dune idyll on the south-west coast of Denmark. Not far from a large shopping centre, the family-friendly campsite is surrounded by dunes on the island of Rømø in southern Jutland. Just 200 metres away is the wide, flat sandy beach of Lalolk, which is famous for its annual International Kite Festival. The modern campsite with cabins and pitches for caravans and motorhomes is surrounded by a wealth of leisure activities. Cycling, sport fishing and horse riding are just as popular as kitesurfing and windsurfing. There is a mini golf course on the campsite grounds. The varied play and labyrinth park on Rømø and a seal safari in the Vadehavet National Park also provide great holiday experiences.
Holiday site in the Wadden Sea National Park, only separated from the beautiful, expansive sandy beach by a belt of dunes.
Indoor playground for small children only. Gastronomy and all shopping facilities in the large, directly adjacent shopping center. Self-check-in/check-out.

Worst place in Denmark, end of October, reception closed from 4 PM, check-in machine payment function broken, no phone contact possible, standing there like an idiot ... Thanks to online booking, I stayed anyway, dune spot a joke, save your money, standing at the fence in front of the dunes and also

We stayed there for one night, about 51 EUR for a pitch without electricity and water is quite steep. The sanitary and washing facilities are very dated and, in our view, not clean and maintained. Also too few for the size of the area. We will not be returning.

The only positive aspect is the very good location. However, the staff is unfriendly, even 5 minutes before 1:00 PM you are not allowed to enter your seat, the girls prefer to chatter among themselves. The courts are not leveled, which means there are sometimes depressions and holes. When going to t

We received a spot without electricity without notice. Despite multiple letters to customer service, there was no response. But of course our credit card was charged in full. Never again!

since the change of operator, the sanitation facilities are really dirty. We will probably look for an alternative.

We were there as a family and with friends. A great campsite, with plenty of sanitary facilities (showers included), a fantastic playground, and a small promenade in front of the campsite. There is also a small supermarket on site. The highlight was the direct beach access over the dunes and being

The only negative thing is the non-existent Wi-Fi. So honestly, don't advertise it. The washrooms are always top-notch. Plenty of playgrounds. Direct access to the sea through the dunes. The supermarket is great with a large selection of rolls. Many options for simpler types of restaurants.
