Fun, games and sport on Sweden's largest lake are guaranteed at Kronocamping Lidköping in the province of Västra Götaland. The family-friendly campsite in Lidköping with restaurant and pitches for caravans and motorhomes is surrounded by a dense forest belt on the eastern shore of Lake Vänern. A sandy beach with adjoining sunbathing lawns and a pool area provide bathing fun. There is also a children's club, a wellness area with whirlpool and sauna and a wide range of leisure activities, including paddle tennis, adventure golf and stand-up paddling.

Elongated meadow area, interspersed with open stands of trees, groups of trees, and bushes. Surrounded by a dense forest belt between the lake and the road.
Access to water
Approximately 50 m long and 10 m wide sandy beach, partly with a retaining wall. Adjacent sunbathing lawn, partly under deciduous trees. Separate beach section for guests with dogs 450 m away.

Very appealing location, wonderful for a holiday by the lake.
Nice place with beautiful design elements in the public areas. Well located to the lake and the city as well as shopping opportunities. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but not broken/uncared for. We've seen worse in Sweden.

Very nice campsite with grassy areas and trees.
Everything is very well-kept and clean. Good and spacious sanitary facilities, good washing machines. A lot of recreational activities for all age groups. The lake with swimming possibilities is also great, and a heated outdoor pool is available for free.

The place is completely overcrowded. It feels like mass processing. The "Tip 2017" awarded by ADAC cannot be substantiated.

The information is correct. Unfortunately, the curtains in the showers are no longer available = deficiency! Unfortunately, the app did not accept the correct departure date.

Very well-maintained place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reservation highly recommended due to high occupancy. The restaurant offers very good food. Always recommended.

Fully modernized/renovated plaza at the absolute state of the art and hygiene. Unfortunately, during our visit, the staff in the restaurant was overwhelmed by the customers and not willing/able to serve. The place itself is just fine and right by the water. It could be very noisy during the peak sea… More
