If you enjoy hustle and bustle and a Ballermann vibe, you'll feel right at home here! Unfortunately, for us as a family, it was not suitable. We had requested a quiet spot but ended up shortening our stay at our own expense because we couldn't sleep due to the very loud music outside until 11 PM from Wednesday to Saturday, along with constant 'Yieha' shouts. In the awning, we had to almost shout to hear each other. This was too stressful for our toddler and for us. There is no partial refund for advance payment, and no apologies or concessions were offered. What a shame! From Sunday to Wednesday, it's a lovely spot and a good starting point for excursions. You can even shop on foot, so the offerings at the site are limited.

Very well-maintained site with large pitches, some with water and sewage connections, a lovely beachfront promenade serving as a starting point for beautiful cycling tours... However, dog owners are also asked to move 650m to the edge of the bay... This is supposedly a requirement from the municipality... Is the water different there?

Great place with large pitches, close to the water and short distances into the city. Supermarket and gas station very close by. Suitable as a starting point for excursions around the whole lake to various interesting places such as Läckö Castle, Göta Canal, Mariestad, Port Spiken, etc. Sanitary facilities are very clean and staff is very professional. Only the number of showers, toilets, and washing areas is really too low. Therefore, at least 1 point deduction here. Certainly also very good for short stops during travel.

Nice place with beautiful design elements in the public areas. Well located to the lake and the city as well as shopping opportunities. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but not broken/uncared for. We've seen worse in Sweden.

Everything is very well-kept and clean. Good and spacious sanitary facilities, good washing machines. A lot of recreational activities for all age groups. The lake with swimming possibilities is also great, and a heated outdoor pool is available for free.

The place is completely overcrowded. It feels like mass processing. The "Tip 2017" awarded by ADAC cannot be substantiated.
