Highlights include the really beautiful lake and the consistently very clean restrooms. The sanitary facilities were in excellent condition throughout our stay. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for us. We cannot understand why this campsite claims to be particularly child-friendly. Our impression is that it relies mainly on good marketing and professional photos. The so-called indoor playhouse essentially consists of a small ball pit that quickly becomes uninteresting for children. Additionally, the playgrounds seem somewhat outdated and offer little variety. From our perspective, urgent investment is needed in this area. Furthermore, many plots are located along gravel roads, making it difficult for children to play safely and carefree. The children's animation was also very poor.

A wonderfully beautiful spot with excellent sanitation facilities. The restrooms are exceptionally designed and constructed with great care. The cleanliness is also very good. The camping site is spacious enough and comes with water and electricity. The electricity billing based on actual consumption is very fair and reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The distance to the lake is a bit far, but there is access to the beaches. We did not find the pizzeria good; the schnitzels were fried, and the pizza, well, had snack bar quality at high prices.

We were there for the first time, just for one night as a stopover. We were welcomed very warmly, the sanitary buildings were varied and clean. The location is great (with dog, lake access, hiking/cycling paths…). The price-quality ratio was good. We will definitely be back...

Unfortunately not our spot. With the children, we found the way to the lake too far. The sanitary facilities were rather lacking (located in the front area) and unfortunately quite dirty. The children liked the train and the playhouse.

The Burgstaller Comfort Camping Park welcomes guests to the picturesque countryside in the south of Austria. Families with children in particular will find plenty to do on this holiday site, from joint sports games to ball pools and pony rides. There is a real camping feeling with bread on a stick and grilled sausages on a spit over the campfire. The four-legged family members are also welcome guests at the Burgstaller Comfort Camping Park.
From April to November, camping holidaymakers can enjoy their days off on the family-friendly site. 500 pitches of various sizes are spread across the twelve-hectare campsite. Fresh water connections, electricity, waste water disposal facilities and Wi-Fi are available on almost all pitches. There are three sanitary buildings on site, two of which have a truly unusual design. One resembles a jungle thicket, while another is a mixture of pirate ship and fairytale forest. If you have forgotten your toothpaste or shower gel in the bathroom at home, you can easily find everyday items in the campsite supermarket. Fresh food and fragrant bread rolls as well as gas bottles can also be purchased here. You are welcome to leave the camping cooker off for a while, as the Burgstaller Comfort Camping Park is home to the cosy Ritschi's Restaurant and the pizzeria. Young people and adults dance in the Almstub'n on Saturday evenings or storm the dance floor at the Sunday pop parties. The entertainment programme in the TOPIs Kidsclub is especially dedicated to younger holidaymakers. All bathing beauties and water rats can have fun at the campsite's lido, which has several water slides. Animal fun awaits holidaymakers with pony rides and long walks with their own dog. The extensive facilities at the Burgstaller Comfort Camping Park are rounded off by sports facilities such as the tennis court, beach volleyball court, surf school, mini golf course and mountain bike course.
Holidaymakers can enjoy new activities every day at the service-oriented holiday resort, so boredom doesn't stand a chance. Anyone interested in an excursion outside of the Burgstaller Comfort Camping Park can, for example, cycle to the Feld am See Alpine Wildlife Park, just 10 kilometres to the north-east. In addition to the eleven-hectare wild animal enclosure, the park has two exhibitions on the themes of Africa and Canada as well as a petting zoo and an aquarium. A nice city excursion could take you to Villach. It takes just under an hour by public transport from the Burgstaller Comfort Camping Park to the city, which has a population of around 62,000 and is home to an interesting local history museum and inviting shopping opportunities.
