Unfortunately, not recommended. The partly catastrophic staff ruins the satisfactory overall impression. Both the self-proclaimed "restaurant manager" and the completely overwhelmed, presumably, trainee at the reception leave no recommendation for the campsite and restaurant. Even though staffing is difficult to obtain, the owner should not tolerate everything. We will not return and certainly do not recommend this place.

We have been coming to this beautiful place for several years, 1-2 times a year. We continually enjoy this lovingly maintained area with spacious pitches. It is simply ideal for paddling as the access is directly available at the site. Perfect for cycling as there are many well-marked routes. It is nice to see how the owners put love and a lot of effort into making it what it is… an oasis of relaxation. The restaurant is also highly recommended. Herrmann, the restaurant manager, quickly wins over the guests with his nice and charming manner and significantly contributes to the success. However, we had to notice that the quality of the food varies quite a bit depending on the chef. On the last evening, everything was perfect again as usual. It is a quiet, very beautifully laid out, and not too large campsite. The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. For us, the good access to paddling was a big plus.

Great natural spot with a very friendly and helpful owner couple. Very nicely located amidst unspoiled nature, we even had a nightingale in the neighborhood.

Very pleasant

Good campsite with relatively well-kept lawn areas. Motorhomes up to 8 meters generally have no problems. The site's own Wi-Fi was not needed as 5G was fully available. Electricity is charged according to consumption. Water connection and wastewater disposal is available at the comfort pitches. Only the automatic barrier at the entrance has a mind of its own. The sanitary facilities have seen better days but are well-maintained and clean. Since the site was quite full (May), it is advisable to reserve in advance. Some campers were there with three to four dogs, which were generally well-behaved (the dogs, that is). The cycling tours in the Spreewald are highly recommended, all of which are almost exemplary well-marked.

Very idyllic in the middle of the forest and absolutely quiet at night. Very dedicated, friendly, and helpful operators. Sanitary facilities well-equipped and always clean (please take off street shoes in the shower building). Unfortunately, we do not canoe and did not bring bicycles, but we went mushroom picking in the Spreewald (drive towards Cottbus, turn right at the first roundabout, then you enter a light mixed forest). If only there weren’t the mosquitoes.
