We had a wonderful time at the campsite in Eschwege with our four children. Our little one quickly made a friend. Mini golf, swimming in the lake, and lovely walks made our five days perfect. Everything was clean and well-kept. We will happily come back! 😄

For children and families without dogs, it’s a nice spot. However, I find it unfortunate that the site promotes the lake, which actually belongs to the city - and where a dog ban has been enforced. We had difficulty leaving our dog in the tent, but we didn’t want to deny our child the lake, so we always had to split up. The children's toilets are permanently closed, which I find very unfortunate. When we researched online to choose a campsite, this one stood out to us because it claims on the website to have an animation tent and activities during the holidays. However, that tent is just a storage room where you can borrow balls, table tennis paddles, etc. We were all very disappointed. For this, the price is definitely too high. We will not be coming back.

Nice quiet place. Great location by the lake. Two small wash houses are unfortunately a bit too few. No children's entertainment during the holidays. Only one set up tent. Very unfortunate.
