On the partly tree-covered grounds, there are numerous play options for the youngest guests. They love the bouncy castle and the colourful play equipment. If you want to actively explore the beautiful holiday region, hire a bike on site. There are numerous shops and restaurants in Sonderburg, around 17 kilometres away.

Only a few steps separate the pitches at Kernelandferien campsite from the beautiful beaches of Sydal. The fine sandy beach offers perfect play opportunities for children. Water sports enthusiasts make the most of the ideal conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Cyclists book a pitch because of the well-developed network of paths. The Augustenborg Trail, for example, leads to the castle of the same name, which is one of the most beautiful baroque buildings in Denmark. If you are interested in traditional craftsmanship, pay a visit to Danks Glaskunst, Sütjütland's only glassblowing workshop. Also worth a visit is the Skovby Mølle gallery, housed in an old mill, where you can see textile artworks and ceramics.
