Impressive lake landscapes with wooded islands characterise the region around Kalsborg in the western Swedish province of Västergötland. Karlsborg Camping is located directly on the main road between Lake Bothnia and Lake Vättern. Birch and pine trees adorn the meadow area of the campsite with its lively atmosphere. In addition to beautifully situated pitches, holidaymakers can enjoy boat and bike hire, mini golf, beach volleyball and a children's playground. The campsite's own sandy beach with adjoining sunbathing lawn on the Bottensee is ideal for relaxing.

Partly flat, partly gently sloping meadow terrain, lightly covered with tall birches and pines. Located between Lake Bottensee and Lake Vättern, directly on the main road.
Access to water
Approximately 190 m long and up to 5 m wide sandy beach with bathing jetty/ladder in a wide bay on Lake Bottensee. Adjacent sunbathing lawn.

We camped at the campsite directly overlooking the lake. We found the spot okay. Lock of the Göta Canal is 500 meters away. The colors 2.5 kilometers away are worth seeing.
