Kampeerdorp De Zandstuve

In autumn, the place is not recommended. All day long, dogs are walked on the site. This is absolutely not acceptable on a children's campsite. When you order a small pizza in the pizzeria, a mini pizza is served on a plastic plate. The tassels on the handlebar of my two daughters' bikes were stolen. There was loud music and laughter from the neighboring field until 2:00 AM. But the worst part is the falling acorns. When you stand under an oak tree, and there are many on this campsite, you get to experience falling acorns. This is not only annoying but extremely disturbing. I never thought it could be so loud. After a week, you still get startled. Considering the price you pay here for a pitch, this was unfortunately the last time at Zandstuve for us.

Super, clean, and manageable area, especially for families with preschool-aged children. We particularly enjoyed the size of the area. Our four-year-old son found his way around relatively quickly; everything is very manageable and yet there is much to offer. The highlight was of course the mascot Cobus. All the staff were very friendly. We were personally greeted and sent off at our pitch. Additionally, a small gift was presented to the children. The swimming pool is also well suited for very small children and is nicely designed. We were there on the Whitsun weekend, and even though the campsite was fully booked, the atmosphere was relaxed. Nothing was overcrowded, and despite the many children, it was never loud. This is certainly due to the spacious pitches, which are always arranged around a small but very well-kept playground.

We spent a week in a caravan at a pitch with private sanitary facilities and had a great time! The arrival was uncomplicated – thanks to the license plate recognition without waiting at the barrier. All important information and the entry tickets for the swimming pool were already waiting for us in our private sanitary facilities. The bathroom was new, perfectly clean, well-heated, and spacious. Washing up was also possible here on a stainless steel sink. Very comfortable. The children had a great time and quickly made new friends. The team around the mascot was wonderfully dressed and regularly ensured shining children's eyes. They even visited the children at the pitch upon arrival and departure and brought small gifts. The swimming pool is our favorite. Preschool children have several slides and a large pool available, so they can play extensively in the water. It was wonderfully warm. The slides for the older kids are also great. The swimming pool was very clean. We also enjoyed the indoor playground just as much, and in good weather, the outdoor playgrounds. The paths are very short, and the area is easy for the children to overview. We will come back!

We like to go to the nearby Netherlands in autumn or over Easter, because here everything is usually very child-friendly. Especially in the slightly cooler season, it is nice for us when there is an attractive indoor pool and an indoor play opportunity available. That hits the spot perfectly. There are great slides, the water is pleasantly warm, and the indoor playground is worth it. The other facilities are also very well maintained, and especially the pizza restaurant is excellent. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back.

We took advantage of the Corpus Christi weekend and spent four days there on vacation. It was a lovely stay for a family with two young children (5 and 3). The place is ideal for that. It was surprisingly not fully booked, making it pleasant. It is relatively smaller compared to many other large competitors, but this made it very pleasant for us, as a lot was still offered. Theater, crafting, dancing, painting... we felt very comfortable. The swimming pool and supermarket could have certainly been bigger, but that is ultimately due to the size of the place and must be accepted. We will come back!

Great campsite for the whole family. The site offers different pitch areas for caravans, all of which have a small, private playground with a sandpit. There is a lot to offer for children, including animation by the park mascot, arts and crafts, as well as dance animation. In addition, next to the (very small) indoor pool, there is a small outdoor pool. A small indoor playground as well as an arcade for bad weather are also available. The sanitary buildings are all super clean, but some are already a bit older. A supermarket with all essential goods as well as delicious rolls is also available. The new restaurant and the separate pizzeria are very stylish and really worth seeing. The staff are nice, attentive, and very helpful. The site has many trees, great facilities, and generally appears very well-maintained and tidy. Our conclusion: All in all, a very respectable site that has a lot to offer, especially for children under 10 years. We give it 8 out of 10 points and would gladly come back again sometime.

De Zandstuve is a beautiful campsite, everything is super nice and clean, very nice people and a lot for children... We are very satisfied and would go back anytime... Thank you to the campsite

Very well-kept, beautifully planted site! Sanitary facilities always clean. The indoor swimming pool is unfortunately a bit small. The area is very nice for cycling. The town of Hardenberg is very close and can be easily reached by bike.
