Camp Velenje

Great place, free choice and without partitioning. Access to the lake through the doors is very short. Was previously only possible through the reception. Despite busy occupancy, the toilets and restrooms were fine. Grey water disposal is difficult, if not impossible, for long periods. We will be back!

We could choose our own camping spot and had a direct view of the lake. Sanitary facilities were very good. Boat rental directly on the premises (only on weekends). Restaurant and bar at the campsite. Cycling path leads directly past the site into the town. Velenje is not particularly sightworthy, but it has sufficient dining options.

From the welcome, you feel at home. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The site is not partitioned, with some old trees providing plenty of shade. In other areas, there are new plantings. Due to the continuous grassy area, the site is also excellent for tents. The sanitary facilities are new and always clean. Washing machine available. There are also rental accommodations (homes and tents). Restaurant opposite the reception is said to be good, I haven't tested it myself. At the back, there is a beach bar. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite, there is also a public swimming area by the lake, which is especially busy on weekends. The grocery store is within a simple walking distance (5 min).

Campsite as an open meadow, not divided. Sanitary facilities are adequate. Very nice beach pool outside the site. At nearly 50 euros per night for a camper with 2 people and the offered comfort, extremely expensive, therefore not recommended. Complicated disposal, hardly accessible.

Non-partitioned site. Newly planted trees provide shade from the old stock. Tents and mobile homes are set up firmly. Lake access only via the reception. Toilets are new and very clean. At almost €50/night for 2 people in a mobile home, it's expensive!
