The nature, the river is beautiful, that’s it. Too few showers. From 5:00 PM no hot water, so cold showers. Dishes must also be washed with cold water. In the restaurant, one is not noticed, waited over 30 minutes for service, then we left. We will not come back.

Perfect for us for a 2-night stopover right by the 10-degree cold river... 5 minutes to the suspension bridge... 15 minutes to the waterfall (don't expect too much from this) delicious food... very cozy... very friendly... very idyllic.

Very many shady spots and super access to the Soca, including bathing opportunities. The restaurant has something for every budget. The sanitary facilities could be cleaned more often, but are completely fine. The price-performance ratio is great. For helpers, there is a separate field a bit away fr… More

One of the most beautiful places we know
A great location by the "mountain-blue" Soča River, with many excursion and sports options (rafting, canoeing) that can be partially reserved directly on site at discounted rates. We were there for off-roading on the Stol Pass (great view, fantastic trails = good for paragliders with shuttle buses) … More

Whether it's water fun in the rushing river, cycling trips through tranquil forests or high-altitude hikes on the massive Julian Alps - recreational sports enthusiasts can pursue their hobbies here.
The holiday resort is idyllically situated on a bend in the turquoise-blue Soča River and offers picturesque views of the valley and the surrounding mountain walls. Campers can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here, tucked away in the middle of dense forests and around 2 kilometres from the historic mountain village of Kobarid. Just below the campsite, numerous gravel banks form small beaches in the riverbed, where bathing fans like to retreat. Kamp Lazar is divided into several terraces with flat meadows, which are shielded by tall trees. There is space for around 250 pitches on the 4-hectare site. If you want to stay online on holiday, you can park your caravan near the reception with Wi-Fi available. The campsite also appeals to gourmets with its excellent restaurant, which serves traditional Slovenian dishes, some of which are prepared in a clay oven, on a semi-covered terrace with a fire bowl. During their stay, many visitors make the short hike to the Kozjak waterfall, which cascades over 15 metre-high rocks into an open cave. The rocky path begins on the opposite side of the river, which can be reached via a suspension bridge. For the more adventurous, Kamp Lazar organises wild kayaking and rafting tours over the rapid rapids of the Soča. Another leisure attraction in the region is the fascinating canyoning through water-bearing gorges.
