Since 2022 under new management! The campsite has a beautiful location and is a perfect mix of natural and well-maintained. The new owners are gradually renovating the facilities, as during our stay a new sanitation building was opened, and the new mini golf course is about to be completed. The pitches are large and partially located under trees. The use of Camper Clean is free of charge. The owners are super friendly, helpful, and are always somewhere on the site working, and they are also available for a chat. The 2 playgrounds, the bathing beach, and the separate dog area with water access provided enough space for the family. Overall top-notch, we will certainly and gladly come back again.

My Only Encounter with a Pit Toilet

Ralf
The site is located quietly and idyllically on a headland with many pines and plenty of forest ground. For me, the rating stands and falls with the facilities and cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. And at this campsite, there were still two pit toilets in service building 4 (2/2 WCs) in August 2021. Also, the running water in the sinks did not work in this service building 4. For me, this is an absolute no-go. Overall, there were 8/21 four service buildings. In building 2, there were two sanitary unisex areas, each with 5 WCs and 4 showers. Thus, there were no urinals. In building 3, there were two public WCs that could be shared with the bath guests. Furthermore, service buildings 2 and 3 are located right next to each other. In building 1, there were no WCs. According to their own information, the site had 8/21 at least 242 pitches. I experienced service building 2 during the high season as heavily frequented and overcrowded. It was often poorly ventilated and the air was stuffy. I found that not very pleasant during Corona times.

Beautiful campsite by the water, especially suitable for families
Superb10
Leo
Many families there, with a playground nearby, water (sea) with a beach directly at the site, also good for dogs. Nice in the woods, shady, many many electrical outlets. At the reception, good pizzas for a snack, rolls available on pre-order. Calmar can be reached by car, or a few kilometers by bike.

Camping with Day Guests at the Own Beach
Very good8
Daniela
The site can be reached from the ferry arriving in Trelleburg in one day. Arrive, stop in front of the barrier, reception towards the beach, on the right hand side. Large camping spots, some under pine trees, some directly by the water (beware of mosquitoes!). The area is divided into two parts by a street (dead end). The spots directly on the street are not recommended. Even though it's a dead end, during the day, there is a lot going on, as many day visitors come in nice weather. Small sandy beach, a designated dog beach, mini golf, occasional music, soccer field. Clean sanitary facilities, unisex, children's bathroom available. Everything to be paid with a site-specific chip card, overview is difficult.

Very nice family-friendly place. Small and easy to navigate by the sea. New and very clean sanitary facilities. Not far from Kalmar. We really liked it.

Very spacious and very helpful, we had a small problem that was resolved together. Open all year round, we paid 240 Skr including electricity, 5 Skr for 4 min of showers.

We visited the campsite during the late season in Sweden. The entertainment program was not extensive, but that was not necessary because there were also affordable leisure activities available (e.g., renting a rowing boat/minigolf). We particularly liked the original layout of the site, the super clean sanitary facilities, and the small clean kitchen where you could quickly heat water for coffee or cook entire meals. Additionally, there was free Wi-Fi on the terrace in front of the supply buildings. We will definitely come back.
