INTERNATIONALCAMPUS

You will find INTERNATIONALCAMPUS in the picturesque town of Canzo in the Italian region of Lombardy. The location is fantastic for anyone who loves the Alps and at the same time appreciates being close to the Upper Italian Lakes like Lake Como. Here, you are surrounded by nature with the mountains right on your doorstep.

This campsite is a wonderful starting point for active campers who love hiking, climbing, or exploring nature in the Lombardy Alps. Thanks to its proximity to the town centre of Canzo, you get a great mix of alpine peace and Italian village life right next door.

The campsite is located in an alpine region, surrounded by wooded hills and mountains. The ground of the pitches is typical for this region. Since we are in the mountains, you should definitely pack sturdy pegs for stony ground for your tent or awning.

Since the campsite is currently not directly bookable via PiNCAMP, we do not have up-to-date prices. It is best to plan for the following typical cost factors for your trip:

• Overnight fees: These depend on the season and the chosen pitch category.
• Additional costs: Electricity and the local tourist tax are usually charged extra.
• Dogs: If you are travelling with a dog, small additional fees often apply.
• ADAC Campcard: It is best to ask directly upon arrival whether discounts are available.

The journey to Canzo takes you into the Lombardy mountains. The roads are well-maintained, but with a car with a caravan, you should drive with foresight in the mountain sections. If you are arriving in late autumn or early spring, snow chains should definitely be in your luggage for safety.

Directly on the campsite, the selection is often kept simple, but that is not a problem at all. The town centre of Canzo is very close by. There you will find excellent Italian trattorias, cosy cafés, and local shops that will provide you with fresh bread rolls and regional delicacies.
