Advantages: - The location on Reichenau Island directly by the lake is sensational! - Lady at the reception very friendly, staff very friendly - sanitary facilities not brand new, but spotlessly clean - Space for dishwashing, laundry, common rooms, mini indoor playroom for kids - Restaurant on site with a great terrace and view of the lake, food is okay - beautiful surroundings, very clean - Great cycling paths, cycling to Konstanz is possible - Great accommodations for cycling travelers and camping spots for tent campers - 10 minutes on foot to the bus stop, then further by S-Bahn to Konstanz. Disadvantages: - Access to the site only with the leading boss, who constantly complains and grumbles - Lakeside spots only for permanent campers makes it feel too cramped, especially since no one was there - Caravans clearly have priority, motorhomes are squeezed in between - Showers cost extra, no kiosk.

No subdivision means for the operator, I can cram my spot until it squeaks! In case of rain, you have several pools (large potholes) available. I'm sorry, I can't understand the good reviews! Shower for an additional euro, quite cheeky but that's like at hotels by Lake Constance, substandard but steep prices! We were there three times, the first, the last, and once too many!

The campsite is marketed as really great. We cannot let that stand. We were treated quite unfriendly at the reception. We got a spot that barely fit our motorhome. It is very tight, the plots are small. The beach is dirty. There are piles of rotting grass that were pulled from the lake and just left there. For days. Smell. The sanitary facilities could have been cleaner. The restaurant was okay, but too expensive. There is absolutely no kiosk, which I cannot understand given the size of the campsite. We were not satisfied and will not return.

During the long weekend for the First of May, of course, 'Happy Hour' was on. This, however, led to every possible corner being somehow 'blocked'. If the fire department had seen this... It resulted in cozy camping at its best. However, the absolutely neglected paths are worse. Here, in the rain, you jump (behind the kiosk) from puddle to muddy hole, to mud, to solid ground. The same is unfortunately true for various pitches, because the former grass was plowed up during various maneuverings. WiFi is only rudimentary available, perhaps due to the many users? Cold shower rooms with limited shower time for €1, but clean sanitary facilities! Therefore, the site appears to be too expensive.

A beautiful place not too large. Parking spaces are not parceled but laid out in small groups. It feels open and pleasant because of this. Relatively new washhouse with enough showers and toilets. 1€ is enough even for long hair. Indoor children's corner with a small tube slide and table tennis, playroom with board games and seating area. Restaurant on site with a southern feel, good food at usual prices. Eating right by the water is possible. The staff is very friendly. Prices are fair for the region. The crowd is a mix of all age groups. On sunny days, many cyclists and hikers are in the restaurant. We will come back (family with 3 children).

We were at the campsite with two caravans over Easter and were completely thrilled. My wife was even driven to our pitches with the golf cart:-). The pitches were fully sufficient for our caravans. The pitch prices are also totally reasonable! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were clean, and the shower time (1€) is sufficient even for women:-)). The campsite restaurant is a bit more expensive, but still reasonable for a restaurant right by Lake Constance. The food is great. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't really 'sea-like', but even in cold, rainy weather, you can experience a lot. It was also a shame that the lake had extraordinarily low water levels. We'll be back. Thanks for the great welcome.

Although the site was chaotically full, the caretaker found something for us and zipped across the area in the golf cart. The pitches are a bit cramped. There is no partitioning between the pitches (e.g. hedge). €40.50, including electricity and visitor's tax, for a VW bus and 2 passengers is quite pricey. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful spot on the island of Reichenau, where you can swim, hike, or cycle. A bus stop is very close by to reach the train station and go to Constance. There are large and clean sanitary facilities, clean toilets. (Shower: €1). Washing dishes is possible in the hallway with absolutely hot water. The washing room was closed. The Wi-Fi reception is very weak and nonexistent at our pitch. There were no rolls available at the site, only expensive baguettes. Instead, there is a kiosk/restaurant with a super nice lakeside terrace and a great view of the sunset. Unfortunately, the offerings were expensive. To reach the water, you have to wade through a layer of mud and algae. Still, I enjoyed a soothing plunge in the refreshing water.

We have been to this beautifully located site several times. Very quiet, with dreamlike sunsets to watch on the beach. But unfortunately, it has deteriorated a lot - we will not be going back. Hygiene in the sanitary facilities is catastrophic. In the fully booked site, there was no cleaning in the shower and washing room for a staggering 3 days. Only after asking when it would be cleaned (allegedly 3 times a day!) did someone finally come. But it was not really cleaned properly! The laundry room with washing machines was also dirty. With reference to Corona, the rinsing area was locked, only a storage room. In the morning, the rinsing basins outside were hosed down, not cleaned with a cleaning agent or cloth. Result: Anyone who wanted to rinse breakfast dishes had to clean and dry everything themselves beforehand. Note: You are not supposed to take paper towels - how is that supposed to work? There are no paper towels at all, not even empty dispensers. Disinfectant: nonexistent - dispensers are always empty! The restaurant has declined significantly and is more expensive now. What a pity, we used to enjoy eating there. Unfortunately, no longer recommended!
