Right on the doorstep, the Ardèche river gorge carves its way under imposing rock towers. The region's landmark, the natural stone bridge Pont d'Arc, is particularly spectacular. Powerful and majestic, it towers high above the heads of bathers and canoeists. The Grotte Chauvet, a relic from prehistoric times that has been faithfully reconstructed for visitors in order to preserve the original for posterity, is also mystical, just 6 kilometres away. After exploring the surrounding area, it's time to jump into one of the two pools or relax in the forest spa. A sauna and steam bath await among the rustling giant trees.
