Summarized by AI
The campsite scores with its great location right behind the dike and the super friendly welcome. Anyone looking for the North Sea and proximity to Husum will find a wonderfully quiet spot here. Good to know for the trip: Anyone heading there should be prepared for somewhat older, slightly outdated sanitary facilities.

The beach area is currently a construction site. This needs to be clearly communicated on the website! Limited shower times are not up-to-date, just like the showers themselves. The sanitary facilities have seen better days. The grey water disposal is akin to a target exercise. A proper drainage channel is needed here. Otherwise: good location, very friendly staff. Playground available. Price a bit high - especially due to the construction.

The restroom facilities need to be updated. Otherwise, it is very peacefully located. Just what you need to unwind.

The best part was the location. I had to leave 4 days early due to a serious bike accident. Response: Personal bad luck, what a shame!!!

A very lovely and peaceful location. You can actually only hear the wind and the sheep on the dyke.

Unfortunately, we missed the public bus connection. Husum is easily accessible by bike, but riding in the rain is not enjoyable. The sanitary facilities are relatively clean, but they are not up to date.

The campsite has aged and, despite this, is not well maintained. It is very disturbing to see the grass in some areas reaching about 20 cm high. When parts are finally mowed, the grass is simply left lying around, even on the pathways, and is then carried into the sanitary building, which becomes totally dirty. This is what we experienced. I used to feel very comfortable here, but that has changed after this visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Otherwise, due to the renovation of the bathing area, it is relatively loud in the mornings.

The Regenbogen Husum campsite invites its guests to spend relaxing weeks by the North Sea. The fresh North Sea air and the unforgettable mudflats will quickly make you forget the stresses of everyday life. A special holiday highlight: walking barefoot through the mudflats.
The North Frisian coastal landscape is ideal for long hikes and extensive cycle tours. Here you can enjoy nature in all weathers and recharge your batteries. Just 2 km away, holidaymakers can discover the town of Husum with its romantic alleyways and cosy harbour. From the harbour, you can take the ferry directly to Hallig Hooge and explore island life. Mudflat walks to Hallig Südfall are particularly popular. The island is a nature reserve and is inhabited by just two people, the national park wardens, from March to November.
In addition to numerous pitches for caravans and motorhomes, the campsite also offers a non-parceled meadow for holidaymakers with tents. In the communal kitchen you can get to know other campers while cooking in the evening and deepen new friendships over a cosy chat in the lounge. There is a playground and a playroom for younger guests to let off steam and have fun. An on-site bread roll service ensures a cosy breakfast at the campsite.
