🤝 Quiet, but why only 3 stars? I would give it 4 stars. Friendliness of some permanent campers. Campsite/Rental accommodation: For 8 people it would definitely have been too small and cramped. For us it was sufficient. 👎 Setting up garbage bins would be appropriate, especially when going with the dog.

We were at the site for a week in autumn. Nice welcome, a large pitch near the new washroom. Everything was great. The washroom has a modern kitchen available for use which was often used. The washroom consists of individual bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink, and shower in one room. We thought it was fantastic. The area is great. These long beaches invite you to take walks. There is a small shop on the site with delicious rolls, and a few kilometers away is Nørre-Nebel. You can shop well there, but also go out to eat. Nearby is also an amusement pool, which we did not visit. Just switch off and 'decelerate' at the beach.

The facilities I used (various shower and sanitary rooms, gas stove and kitchen worktop) were always very clean, in fact, I didn't even find old cobwebs in the rooms! The pitches are very level, so caravans can be set up without leveling wedges or similar. A small shop with its own bakery, as well as a swimming pool, tennis court, mini-golf course, and the possibility to use a festival tent, rounded off the positive impression. The pitches are separated by about 1.2-meter high hedges, which additionally ensures a quiet stay. There are dog run areas available all around, and in the nearby town of Nørre Nebel, there are restaurants, supermarkets, and ATMs. I was here 14 years ago, and a lot has changed since then. The nearby beach and the many small forests continue to offer good recreational opportunities. The location of the campsite is good for making excursions into the surrounding area in bad weather (Varde, Esbjerg, Ribe, Ringkøbing, Hvide Sande, Søndervig). Checking in upon arrival was uncomplicated. I received a site map with a marking of the free spots and could choose one after viewing. The hot water for the showers is billed minute by minute via a chip card, a very simple and, in my opinion, fair system. Otherwise, hot water for washing and dishwashing was free.

The first time we were here was in 1974 at this then-still-small, simple campsite. The first year in a household and as the family grew larger, with a caravan. And later with a caravan and an extra tent for the older children. The campsite has grown with us, so to speak. The plots became larger and the washrooms more modern and also more numerous. There is a large playground, two tennis courts (one sand, one grass), mini-golf, and a pool. The shop at the campsite is always open during the season. We have always felt very comfortable here.
