Campsite with breathtaking mountain views in the Hohe Tauern Nature Park

The HOCHoben - Camp & Explore impresses with an overwhelming summit backdrop. The campsite, which was built in 2019, is located at an altitude of around 1,200 metres in the mountaineering village of Mallnitz, which is known for its idyllic village centre and soothing healing climate. Active holidaymakers will not only find plenty of peace and quiet here in the middle of the Hohe Tauern Nature Park, but also a wealth of adventure opportunities in largely unspoilt nature. There is an outdoor playground for the little campers on the well-kept site. Guided hikes, evenings around the campfire and snowshoe tours are also part of the leisure programme at this family-friendly site. In winter, the resort has its own ski slope with a magic carpet and direct access to a cross-country ski trail. Not to forget: the Ankogel, one of the highest ski areas in Carinthia. A ski and drying room is of course available on site.

Modern alpine charm in the midst of nature

HOCHoben - Camp & Explore includes a chalet village and 95 spacious pitches with electricity, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and water and drainage connections. The state-of-the-art sanitary facilities are decorated with forest and mountain motifs. A high degree of privacy is guaranteed by four rented bathrooms. There is even a separate dog shower for your beloved four-legged friend. A washing machine area and a dishwashing room are also part of the campsite. Shopping facilities are available in the main building. In addition to a bread roll service and breakfast delivery service, there is also a restaurant in a modern Alpine style. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine made exclusively from Austrian ingredients in the cosy dining room with bar and fireplace. When the sun is shining, the adjoining terrace invites you to linger.
