Located directly on the shores of the ’t Hilgelo recreation area, Hilgerszand Familiecamping & Strandpaviljoen welcomes families and water sports enthusiasts to relaxing holiday days. Spacious pitches with plenty of privacy or comfortable safari tents provide the perfect setting for a carefree stay, and dogs are welcome too. While children enjoy the playground or join the entertainment programme, adults can relax at the beach pavilion. The lake invites guests to swim, paddle and unwind. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-maintained site, always clean sanitary facilities, swimming lake is accessible on foot in 2 minutes, despite being publicly accessible, the swimming lake is very quiet, free Wi-Fi with good coverage, the prices in the restaurant may seem daunting at first but are more than justified due to the portion sizes. The only downside: when pre-booking, the first installment is paid through a service provider and the second installment directly to the operator, which is a bit confusing as you do not receive a confirmation for the second payment.
