Those who like youth groups and adults who party until late at night with loud bass and shouting are warmly welcomed. The idea that a campsite serves for peace and relaxation is very far off. The operator is very friendly and nice. But even the electricity prices of 4.00 € for charging an e-bike are already very questionable.

The 5 stars are in no relation, maximum 3 I would give here. The good part is the location and quietness, including the opportunities to do something in nature. The operators make a friendly impression but no longer see the problems on the site, which is a shame actually. Just start cleaning up the many little corners where discarded and broken items and building materials are left. The sanitary buildings are otherwise in order, but just removing the cobwebs etc. already makes a lot look better. Furthermore, we accidentally managed to take a look at the disabled toilet, unfortunately here too there was smell and dirt. This is not how a campsite owner treats guests. Come from the past to today, roll up your sleeves and clean up the site, or better leave it be.

Generous space with free selection of spots, beautiful old tree stock and hedges, clean sanitary facilities, friendly operator (we received homemade meatballs with potatoes, even though the kitchen was already closed)... and the old Trabant with a trailer in front of the reception brings a smile! Within a 1.5 km walk, I recommend "Landgaststätte Schlaitz" with a nice beer garden and good cuisine (own butcher). We were on the way north for 4 days with a modern "Klappfix" at Muldestausee and pleasantly surprised. In mid-summer: Beware of ticks.

From June 22 to 23, 2022, our bike tour took us to Schlaitz. Since we knew this campsite from the past, we were aware that we would encounter East German charm, but we had no problem with that. In the morning, our grandson appeared with insect bites all over his body, and I also suffered from them. We, of course, reported this to the campsite operator, who promised to take action. From June 28 to June 30, 2022, we were once again in Schlaitz with friends. We received 3 other bungalows. Conclusion: these bungalows are also infested with some kind of mites or bugs, as not only I but also the other participants were severely affected. When reporting this incident to the campsite manager, there was no expression of sympathy, just the words "I don't understand" were used. That is no way to treat guests. If the bungalow has no comfort, which is personally okay for me, it still needs to be clean. Especially since such an incident had been reported by us shortly before. I expect the bungalows to be cleaned and disinfected.

We were just passing through and spent 3 lovely days. Very quiet and beautiful campsite in the middle of the forest. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back.

The place is very nicely situated. The sanitary facilities are very clean and are constantly maintained. You can quickly reach the lake via a path, where there are small "beaches" by the water everywhere. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The washing house was directly opposite the tourist spots. We were only passing through, but we will definitely not be here for the last time and then for longer.
