In the middle of the archipelago in the Swedish province of Bohuslän, Hafsten Resort & Camping is idyllically situated between two bays on the narrowest part of a peninsula. The family-friendly campsite in Uddevalla has pitches for caravans and motorhomes as well as a colourful range of leisure activities for young and old. These include a high ropes course, adventure golf, a FlyingFox zipline and Segway tours. Even excavator and quad biking are on the programme. The campsite's own boat hire service takes you out on the water.
Idyllically located between two bathing bays, this holiday resort for the whole family is situated at the narrowest point of the Bokenäs peninsula.

Site
Partially tiered, partially terraced terrain on a hill of the peninsula. Divided by deciduous and coniferous trees as well as bushes. Some pitches on terraces on a small plateau. New, level area without planting.
Access to water
On the east side, a 50 m long and 30 m wide sunbathing lawn with a narrow strip of sand and bathing platform. In the west, a 200 m long and up to 30 m wide, partly gravelly sandy beach with jetty, bathing ladder, and bathing platform, also with sunbathing lawn. Separate beach area for dogs.

Great location, BUT...
The location with a view of the fjord is fantastic. Unfortunately, the area is very tightly packed, with too many sites that have way too little space between them and very narrow and sometimes steep roads that make maneuvering a challenge. Great location, well organized
Nice place with a lot of comfort and a beautiful location. There is a small supermarket and a restaurant. Motorhomes are close together. Sanitary facilities very clean.

Nice surroundings for walking.
Beautiful modern campsite with friendly staff, restaurant, and a small supermarket. As dog lovers, the dog shower was a big surprise for us. It was also very helpful since we had been walking in the beautiful surroundings before. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi here was fine.

Too Expensive and Noisy
The location is very nice, but in my opinion, it is not worth 5 stars. Way too expensive for a simple short overnight stay. The supposedly “free” parking lot for 450 cars in front cannot even be used for mini campers under 6m. We paid 395 SEK for “permitted” parking without electricity and service. … More
