Hafencamp Senftenberger See

We had a very nice stay at Hafencamp and can recommend the site to families with children. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The entire place is very well maintained, clean, and well organized. Bicycle and boat rentals offer a variety of activities right on site, and thanks to the family park, children do not feel bored. The accommodations are functional and well-designed. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is available. A small point of improvement: while the design of the accommodations is successful, it seems less extraordinary compared to some newer holiday and camping parks in Europe. Overall, the positive impressions clearly outweigh the negatives. Those who value good service, family activities, and the beautiful heath landscape will find Hafencamp just right. We look forward to returning.

It was very beautiful! The facility is well-kept, the staff is very friendly, and the accommodation, as well as the sanitary areas and kitchen, are top-notch 👌 A wonderfully relaxing short stay.

We had a wonderful stay in our motorhome with a view of the lake. We have already booked for next year.

We really liked the layout of the site, the number of motorhome pitches, and the sanitary facilities. The activity options, such as canoeing, are great.

A very beautiful camping field, partly shaded. The washrooms are small but clean. Unfortunately, there are no shelves in the shower area, especially for glasses. There is a nice kitchen area with a stove and washing facilities, as well as indoor seating. Outside, there are also additional seating options. The dining area offers a very tasty breakfast, or you can pre-order rolls there. The reception was very warm and uncomplicated, just like the departure, when we wanted to park a little longer to enjoy a meal there at our leisure. We were able to book a party boat on-site, which was great fun, and the team provided excellent guidance to help us navigate the lock.

Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, and it was very cold and wet. We must sadly acknowledge that the site at Hafencamp has aged and desperately needs renovation. The sanitary facilities need urgent upgrading and should be adjusted to meet the increased demand. Those wishing to shower or use the restroom in the evening are unwittingly "observed" by the slanted skylights. In this day and age, this is simply unacceptable. The rising prices year after year do not justify that you can now use the family park "for free" either. On a positive note, the staff is always very friendly, courteous, and helpful, which is great! We will certainly come back, as we really enjoy the region in and around Senftenberg. Nevertheless, some disappointment lingers after the last visit.
