Geiseltalsee Camp

What I liked most about this campsite were the sanitary facilities, which were excellent! The coffee and roll delivery service was also awesome. Unfortunately, my visit with a dog was not very enjoyable, as while I was allowed to bring him to the campsite, there was no dog beach by the water and dogs were prohibited, which is a real shame and should be changed. Additionally, the electrical supply at the campsite was not optimal and should be improved. I also found it disappointing that there was only food service at the beach area. Otherwise, I had beautiful days at Geiseltalsee.

I cannot say anything good about this place. They didn't let us in because we only arrived at 8:30 PM. The operators were on-site and left us with the words, the cash register is closed. They simply walked away. I know many places in Europe; this is the very last one. Too bad I have to give it a point.

The gravel paths are not very good. The common area is super clean! Paved parking space with electricity costs 4 euros, 26 euros for a motorhome for 2 people. Well, the sale of food in jars from the vending machine is too expensive, over 6 euros. The paths should be better, no gravel!

Quiet and nicely located place above the Geiseltalsee. The plots are spacious, but without privacy. Electricity and sanitary facilities were included in the reasonable price. The sanitary facilities were clean and well-maintained. You can order rolls at the reception. Below the campsite, there is a nudist beach and a regular swimming beach, as well as a marina. The water is very clear. There is a rich variety of water sports available, such as SUP, sailing, etc. A diving base is also present on site.

The campsite is terraced and you can enjoy the evening sun. The team is competent and nice. Restrooms are top notch.

We had to continuously reschedule the appointment with a group of 4 motorhomes due to health reasons. That was not easy for the team. Nevertheless, a very friendly and understanding solution was found. We sincerely thank you and highly recommend this spot, a wonderful area with great water, beautiful cycling paths, and a stunning marina along with the charming little town of Mücheln. 🥰 Family Lehmann and friends
