Gammelmark Strand Camping

The campsite is located right by the water, surrounded by beautiful nature. Unfortunately, there are too few sanitary facilities. The spots are sometimes very close together and cramped. My pitch was directly next to a construction site, and this at full price.

Great location directly at the sea. Clean sanitary facilities. Due to the terraced arrangement, many plots have a sea view. Great playground and extra dog run.

The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was more than acceptable. Unfortunately, there wasn't always hot water in the shower. Beautifully situated and laid out in terraces. Direct access to the fjord.

We visited the site yesterday, after prior inquiry with the owner, without staying overnight. The location and layout of the site with the terraces is truly beautiful, and the pitches are very well-sized. The site is also very well maintained. Access to the campsite and the drive to the terraces requires a lot of driving experience with large vehicles, however, you can also find pitches at the bottom. The sanitary facilities were very clean. There is also a swimming pool, as well as playgrounds for children. What keeps us away is the pricing. At the reception, we were given different prices than what is stated on the internet. If I, as a customer at the reception, know the pricing better than the reception staff, I find that unacceptable. Also, the extra costs like the swimming pool and cooking in the kitchens are not something we are used to from Danish campsites in this category. Absolutely recommendable for campers seeking peace. Those who want something more unfortunately have to drive or find another campsite.

Although we were only there briefly, everything was to our satisfaction. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. The entire site is very well maintained and clean. Wonderful for relaxing. What is especially commendable are the operators of the site. We had a problem with our motorhome, and the family helped us immediately. We were given everything we needed from the workshop. For that, our heartfelt thanks once again. We will definitely recommend the site.

Very nice, friendly, and uncomplicated owner. The team always comes up with something, for example, a midsummer festival at the beach. The site has several playgrounds and two blobs where adults can also have fun ;-). The pitches vary in size and are suitable for most caravans. On the large area "Frederik", even the really large caravans and motorhomes fit. We will come back!

With the new owner Peer, you can always have a chat and good wine is available from the fridge if needed 😉 Super location directly on the Baltic Sea bay with a view of Sønderborg. Nice and clean sanitary facilities.

This is my second time here and I am totally thrilled again. Several children's playgrounds, goats, and rabbits that you can pet and feed. Very clean and nice operator (for him, the first season). We will definitely come back! Small shop and outdoor pool in summer.
