Beautiful campsite with potential to stay.
The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was more than acceptable. Unfortunately, there wasn't always hot water in the shower. Beautifully situated and laid out in terraces. Direct access to the fjord.

Site with a great location by the fjord

Great Campsite
Although we were only there briefly, everything was to our satisfaction. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. The entire site is very well maintained and clean. Wonderful for relaxing. Very good campsite with its own beach.
Very nice, friendly, and uncomplicated owner. The team always comes up with something, for example, a midsummer festival at the beach. The site has several playgrounds and two blobs where adults can also have fun ;-). The pitches vary in size and are suitable for most caravans. On the large area "Fr… More

Beautiful place in a quiet location
With the new owner Peer, you can always have a chat and good wine is available from the fridge if needed 😉 Super location directly on the Baltic Sea bay with a view of Sønderborg. Nice and clean sanitary facilities.

Small Place Right by the Water
This is my second time here and I am totally thrilled again. Several children's playgrounds, goats, and rabbits that you can pet and feed. Very clean and nice operator (for him, the first season). We will definitely come back! Small shop and outdoor pool in summer.

Great Campsite
Very nice campsite with incredibly friendly operators. Located in a quiet area. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated, but clean. Despite the ongoing holidays, it is not fully booked.

Great Campsite in a Quiet Location
Super nice operators who welcomed us very warmly. Great location right by the water, but quite remote. However, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. The only downside is the sanitary facilities, which are a bit worn.

Gastronomic offers
On the eastern shore of the Flensburg Fjord, Gammelmark Strand Camping is located between meadows and forests in the Danish region of Syddanmark. The family-friendly campsite not only offers its visitors the amenities of its own private beach and a heated outdoor pool, but also provides a varied sports programme for fun and excitement on a family holiday: pony riding is one of the sporting highlights of the well-kept site.
An access road that leads directly to the beach on the Flensburg Fjord divides Gammelmark Strand Camping in Broager into two spacious meadow areas, one of which is flat and the other largely terraced. There are 189 parceled-out pitches for caravans and campers, which offer enough space for the whole family with up to 150 square metres. A separate sanitary area for children provides additional comfort during the family holiday. The youngest guests will quickly make new friends in the children's playground or at the creative children's entertainment programme, with whom they can visit the campsite's petting zoo, for example. There are also pony rides here, one of the highlights for children on holiday at Gammelmark Strand Camping. If the weather on the Danish Baltic coast doesn't play ball, guests at the campsite can relax in the heated outdoor pool. In sunny weather, the 200 metre long sandy beach invites you to enjoy a relaxing swim. If, on the other hand, you would like to spend your holiday doing sports, you can explore the Flensburg Fjord by diving - there is even a filling station for oxygen tanks at the campsite. You can also take part in guided hikes along the Gendarme Hiking Trail.
The majestic double tower of Broager Church can be seen from afar: With its height, it served as a landmark for seafarers centuries ago. The church was built from monk's stone in the 13th century and is still known today for its many lime paintings and Denmark's largest bell house. If you want to get a good overview of the city and the region first, you can climb the Smøl Vold rampart, which offers a view of Nybøl Nor and parts of the Flensburg Fjord. On the eastern side of the peninsula on which Broager is located is the Stensigmose Klint, a cliff known for its fossil finds. Observant hikers and walkers are sure to find a unique souvenir here.
