The large campsite close to the beach with rental accommodation and an undulating, tree-lined meadow area for caravans and motorhomes is located in Kollund near the Flensburg Fjord. The natural landscape around the Baltic Sea arm is perfect for hiking and cycling. The Gendarme Trail, one of the most beautiful coastal hiking trails in Denmark, runs not far from the campsite, which is open all year round. Large area, MiniMarkt, toilets are quite dated and unfortunately dirty. The spots for campers are quite sloped so it takes a lot of wedges to stand somewhat level. For us as a stopover on the way home from Norway, it was okay, but no reason to go back.

The campsite is quiet and the small beach is easily accessible. The playground was okay, but like everything, it has aged. Despite the low occupancy, it was partly not very clean and there was litter around. The swimming pool is nice, but after a few days it was broken and closed. All in all, we were rather disappointed, even though the price is okay.
