absolutely untrustworthy!

March 2023

We made the reservation on 04/10/2023 and paid a fee of Euro 260.00 for our vacation in mid-June 2023. On 05/16/2023, we unfortunately had to cancel the trip, which we communicated via email. No response. On 05/23/2023, I wrote again, no response. The administration of the camping site does not respond, and whether we will ever get the deposit back, I seriously doubt. I do not recommend this camping at all. This is no way to treat customers. What a shame.

A natural site for true vacation relaxation

Superb10

Stefan und Kirsten

August 2022

We were here for the first time and definitely not the last time. A place embedded in original nature and not too asphalted and deforested. The pitches are small but absolutely sufficient. All are overgrown with nature. The sanitary facilities are kept absolutely clean from early morning until late evening. The restaurant offers a varied cuisine at fair prices and very nice staff. The pool area is already a highlight with a view of the sea. But the dream is the beach, which invites long walks and sunbathing. A simple but typical Spanish beach bar, with delicious tapas and drinks at absolutely fair prices completes the beach scene. Those seeking relaxation and quiet will find it here - finally some peace from the smartphone - as there is reception only in a few places - hopefully it stays that way. Wifi is available - but do you really need that on vacation? If you want to truly take a vacation, relax, and recuperate, this is the right place. Partying can be found a few kilometers away in the artificial camping resorts between asphalt and designer flowerbeds. Camping El Templo del Sol is pure nature and enjoyment - fitting for nudism.

Dreamlike Place

September 2022

There is really little to complain about here, the grounds are permanently cleaned during the day, the beach, pools, and the whole ambiance are simply fabulous. BIG MINUS: the Wi-Fi is expensive and poor, there is need for action here! Mobile reception at the site is also very limited...

Not suitable for motorhomes

2

Kay

March 2022

At the start of the season in April of this year, we wanted to visit this site in a beautiful location with our motorhome (7.85 m long and about 3.35 m high). Unfortunately, we were already turned away at the reception by a lady who approached us. She silently held out a note with the text: Too long, too high, too large. That was a great welcome. We were rejected. Especially considering that one has chosen this supposedly beautiful place and has also taken the corresponding drive into account. We found no indications in the information materials available to us, such as camping guides or on the campground's website, about these restrictions. This is just frustrating.

Very Good Place

June 2021

So we were there in 07/2021. The railway line has been closed and the place is well-kept. The disadvantage with large motorhomes over 7 meters is that it is almost impossible to get into the plots. We will come back.

Well... so much for "SUPER PLACE"

Pleasant6

April 2019

The campsite is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Catalonia, pitches quite small, large motorhomes have a hard time! The facility is only somewhat maintained along the main path and at the reception, while the pitches are quite unclean, the paths are extremely poor, only rough gravel with many stones, resulting in a high risk of injury. Many injuries, fractures have occurred over time, and the site has done nothing for several years to improve this condition. The pool and jacuzzi are clean and nice, the sanitary facilities are very clean but quite outdated, with faucets that do not work and blocked drains... The staff and the entertainment team are very friendly and helpful, TOP!!! The bar by the pool is great! The restaurant Blueverd is good, but they do not have German or Dutch menus; I pointed this out back in 2018, but nothing is done about it. Then we simply go to one of the many restaurants in town that care more about their guests. There is also a bar called Patio, and we have never experienced such a poor service like this before. Prices like in a big city and the service is next to none!!! Hey, we are at a campsite!!! Normally, a bar at the campsite is the social meeting point for everyone, but with no good service, it’s also not a campsite meeting point!!! The landscape and the interesting surroundings are the true treasure of this campsite. In our opinion, the campground does not deserve the title "Super Place"; the inspector should spend a few weeks here to give a realistic review!!!

More infos about El Templo del Sol

At Camping El Templo del Sol near Tarragona, fans of naturism will find a particularly attractive campsite designed in Moorish style. Located directly by the sea, the beach can be reached via a staircase from the campsite. The swimming pool area is also located on the slope and offers guests three terraces with fantastic sea views.

Nudist camping like something out of 1,001 nights

On one of the most beautiful naturist beaches in the entire Mediterranean, Camping El Templo del Sol in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant offers campers 257 pitches that majestically overlook the Mediterranean. The picturesque location allowed the campsite's architects to build a Moorish-style holiday village that never fails to surprise with its architectural solutions. In addition to the swimming pool terraces on the slope to the beach, the jacuzzis with sea water, which can accommodate up to 30 bathers at a time, are also impressive. A dip in the whirlpool here is like a dream from 1,001 nights. Due to the nostalgic architecture, campers should not be deceived by the modernity of the facility. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the site, and modern open-air fitness equipment such as spinning bikes ensure outdoor exercise. The sports programme as a whole is very varied and includes classic summer sports such as beach volleyball and mini golf as well as a complete golf course. A highly qualified sports team ensures that all guests feel at ease while practising the various sports. Those with a thirst for knowledge can also improve their Spanish skills and borrow books in various languages from the library. Of course, we have also thought of the little ones: they can romp around in a special paddling pool or have fun with the children's entertainment programme.

Beach days close to nature and excursions to Barcelona

Camping El Templo del Sol is located in the autonomous province of Catalonia, making it the perfect base for exploring this world-famous region. The beach is just a short walk away, where guests can relax in peace and quiet, as its width means that all travellers will find an undisturbed spot here. If you are travelling a little further afield, a trip to Barcelona, around 95 km away, is a good idea. The Mediterranean metropolis delights visitors from all over the world with its life-affirming atmosphere and the fascinating architecture of the Gothic architects and Gaudís. A stroll along the Ramblas, the main street of old Barcelona leading to the harbour, is an experience in itself that travellers to Catalonia should not miss.
