The campsite is very beautifully situated, with good bathing facilities, very friendly staff, and a choice among several pitches available upon arrival. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained and clean, but clearly too small. Vadstena is easily accessible by bike via a cycle path.

We were at this campsite for three nights in the first half of August 2022. The site is stretched out along Lake Vättern and is divided by a publicly accessible long beach. Upon arrival, you are supposed to choose your own free spot and then go to the reception to check in. In principle, there are two quieter areas on the sides (each with a small playground and sanitary buildings) and a "children's area" in the middle, which features a large playground, a bouncing pillow, a zip line, a skate ramp, a climbing wall, and an obstacle course. There used to be a big water slide with a pool here, but that no longer exists. We had a great spot with a view of the lake (including sunset in the lake) and close to the bouncing pillow (ideal for our children) - only our neighbors were a bit strange. It was a bit tiring that you have to take off your shoes in the sanitary buildings, which leads to the floor being dirty more often due to wet shower floors and dirty feet. The showers are free, there are "family bathrooms", which are lockable rooms with a shower, toilet, and sink, and in the southern sanitary building, there is a changing room with a small children's toilet and a children's bathtub. At the reception, there is a shop with rolls (without pre-ordering), ice cream, and a few other groceries. Additionally, there is a beach kiosk and restaurant. A small highlight of the site is the small train, which runs once daily at 11 a.m. (if at least 15 passengers can be found) to Vadstena and returns from there at 2 p.m. Vadstena is a small chic place with a pedestrian zone, castle, monastery, and playground. Swimming at the campsite is quite good, but it only goes in very slowly. The water is clear and devoid of plant growth, but close to the shore, the bottom is a bit muddy. However, there is also a jetty that leads directly into deeper water. We can definitely recommend the site.

We spent a night at the beautiful campsite. We directly had a great spot with electricity by the Vättern for 180 SEK. The sanitary facilities in house 8 were clean and tidy, just like the rest of the place. We will stop here again. Oh yes, the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The course is well-maintained, somewhat aged, but overall okay. Restaurant opens only in mid-June. The course can be chosen freely, very large area. Price is okay. Wi-Fi technically not available.

Large square by the water, very clean and well-maintained, almost everything renovated and modern. The motorhome parking spaces in the southern area resemble a large parking lot with greenery. In the pre-season, SUPER, during the peak season it is likely to be mega-busy.
