Well-kept but no contact person available after 6:00 PM

We arrived with the camper shortly after 5:00 PM, they quickly gave us a spot and asked us to register and everything for the next day. After that, around 6:00 PM, everything was closed, the bistro, the sauna (which I was particularly looking forward to after the long drive), no contact person available on the entire site. Otherwise, everything was clean and well-maintained. In a site of this size, this should not happen in August.

The location is great by the water. The sanitation facilities are cleaned very regularly, very clean. The pitches are spacious and partially paved and for vehicles. Large range of leisure activities for children. Friendly staff. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

After being at this spot on the way back from Lapland 4 years ago, we have also chosen this spot on the way to the Lofoten this time. The showers are clean, as is the very good kitchen with many places. The motorway is within hearing distance, preferably choose a spot behind the service building. The lake is 1.5 km away.

Great campsite for families with various excursion options

July 2023

In the first half of August 2023, we spent two nights with a camper at the campsite. We had made a reservation the day before because we had seen that the best spots were already taken, and we didn't want to be too far from the only sanitary building and the playground. The large sanitary building includes both slightly older toilets and newer showers separated for women/men, as well as unisex cabins with toilet+sink or shower, two family bathrooms, and a large children's bath with a small toilet, two sinks, two baby baths, a sit-down shower, and a standing shower. Especially during peak times in the morning and evening, you do sometimes have to wait briefly to use the restroom, and the later in the day it gets, the dirtier the toilets were. In this building, there is also a large kitchen (with ceramic cooktops, ovens, and microwaves), a dining/living area with several tables, a small restaurant, and a shop (rolls are only baked once in the morning at 8 AM and are usually almost sold out after 9 AM!). There are many great offerings for children here: centrally located is a large playground with two bouncing cushions, the Barnklubb offers daily entertainment for kids (also with a life-sized Yessi), there is a mini-golf course, a beach volleyball court, and many large soccer fields. From the campsite, you can reach a lake with a bathing beach after about 500 meters, where there is also a lovely outdoor swimming pool; in the other direction, you can get to a climbing park, and you can also take a trip to the city of Umeå by bike, on foot (about 5 km), or by bus. Free WiFi is also available, but only between the reception and the service building. The site is indeed very large and you don’t stand particularly nicely (just in long rows without much separation and with guidelines on which direction), but we found it neither loud nor particularly crowded (at our spot C192, we also didn’t hear anything from the adjacent roads). Conclusion: a nice campsite that is very well located as a starting point for various excursions.
