Feldberg Familie Camping

We were here in September, unfortunately we encountered very bad weather with plenty of rain. Our pitch stood a few centimeters underwater after a few days. The pitch was so flat that it couldn't drain. The sanitary facilities were very clean. The car beach a few kilometers away was great. It invites long walks or relaxing. We will come back, but earlier in the year.

The place is very well maintained and pleasantly quiet. Very good for the children is the activity hall, with various play and sports options. By bike, you can quickly get to shopping, the beach, or Nordby. The Feldberg family, as well as the staff, is always in a good mood. I can only say: Thank you very much, Feldberg family, we will come back.

We were already excited about Feldberg Strand Camping. Family camping is really top-notch too. The pitches are large and partially surrounded on three sides by a hedge about 1.5m high. You really have your own undisturbed plot there. Top! The sanitary area is not quite as artistically designed as at the Strandcamping, but still of above-average quality and cleanliness. The 2-crown showers mentioned in earlier reviews are equipped with a start/stop button. If you don't need water, you can interrupt it. The beach is about 1 km away, which can be quickly reached by bike. You can cycle all along the length of the island. If the dog runs alongside the bike, the bike tour on the beach is a huge fun for both. --- Really great place and surprisingly quiet for "family camping." You can get a very good pizza with a crispy thin crust at the nearby pizzeria. The truffle dishes are probably faked with truffle oil. It's advisable to reserve a table. When it comes to payment, there's a persistent insistence on tips. It's good to be prepared in this regard and to behave according to Danish customs as needed. Otherwise, really delicious.

Very nice and well-maintained campsite. Check-in was straightforward and we were lucky enough to be able to choose our pitches. The pitches are very spacious and separated by small hedges. The sanitary facilities and kitchen were very clean and well maintained and properly equipped. The only small point of criticism: to take a shower, you need 2 crown coins. The duration of the shower is quite short and you have to go out again and toss in another coin. Not so pleasant when you’re all lathered up. Otherwise, top-notch and definitely recommended.

Even in the height of summer it is calm and cozy. The location is great: in 5-10 minutes you can reach the ferry by bike, the 3 main supermarkets, and of course the beach. If you prefer it really quiet, explore the interior of the island; there is much to discover. The facilities of the place are fine and the whole team is very helpful. I estimate that half of the guests come from Germany. Tip: Spring and late summer and autumn have their own charm! During this time there are also flexible pitches: You can leave your caravan for free and only pay if you live in it. However, this must be agreed upon beforehand, as the pitches are limited. And be careful: In summer the ferry from Esbjerg is quite expensive for caravans and only on Saturdays. PS: Yes, the showers cost 2 crowns for 2 minutes (so 15 cents), but I survived that ;-). The family showers are more expensive because they provide warm water for longer. All in all: We have been coming here for years and feel really comfortable.

We have been at this site since 2020 and are completely satisfied. Everything has always been clean, and a team was also out multiple times a day to keep it clean. In my opinion, the prices are perfectly reasonable. The whole team (managers and employees) makes every effort to meet the guests' needs. We are looking forward to the season starting again next year when the Germans are allowed to travel to Denmark again. We will definitely come back.
