Falkensteiner Camping Lake Blaguš

Very nice accommodation right by the lake, quiet location,

Well-organized site with great staff - Waste/recycling can be optimized ;) - missing quiet hours, as the barrier is never closed, which affects arrivals until late.

Unfortunately, the Falkensteiner Premium Camping Lake Blaguš is disappointing. The showers are dirty and were not cleaned during our stay. The drain is completely clogged. The sanitary facilities are only located in nicely packaged containers and much is outdoors. The pitches are consistently very small and uneven, large gravel stones prevent any comfort. You see nothing from the lake, as the campsite is located below the dam - this is not visible on the map.

The cabins in the forest are really beautiful, we just missed a refrigerator - which is supposed to arrive next year. The facility is quite new and tidy - the cabins are about 6x2.5m large enough and well-equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed with chairs. An air conditioning is also installed. We had a package with breakfast, which was good. Just once there were no eggs available - that shouldn't be. In general: The restaurant will be managed in 2025 by an external company, with weaknesses. The occupancy rate is probably only moderate for this reason - the prices are still rather 'sportive'. It would be better if Falkensteiner took care of it themselves.

Dear Falkensteiner team, unfortunately, our stay did not meet my expectations. The accommodation was basically fine, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. For instance, the ashtray of the previous guest was still in the cabin, and overall it did not seem thoroughly cleaned. The sanitary facilities also did not meet the standards one might expect from a premium camping offer. Toilets and showers were only cleaned once a day, which in my opinion is not sufficient for the number of guests and the advertised standard. I expected a higher quality and cleanliness from a stay under the Premium Camping label.

This campsite is a real highlight for a few days of complete peace and relaxation. Everything is very clean, great sanitary facilities, and everything is quite new. The restaurant invites you to enjoy cool drinks and good food. Prices are entirely reasonable. Free paddle boards and boats can be taken directly at the lake. The pitch is not large, but sufficient. Unfortunately, there is no shady spot. But every camper usually has sun protection (awning, tent, etc.) with them. We really enjoyed it. You cannot buy food on the campsite itself, a supermarket is reachable on foot in 30 minutes.
