Unfortunately, nothing has improved in the last 5 years regarding the lighting in the changing rooms. Implementation: Install an infrared motion sensor with timer. This is for safety and personal protection reasons (risk of accidents).

30 Years of Euronat

Unfortunately, the peace we have enjoyed for 30 years has been disturbed in recent years by too many dogs. Campers often have 2 to 3 dogs on board. Since the owners of dog schools seem to know nothing, it is not surprising that the animals want to assert their place with loud barking.

Too Many Dogs Without Owner Training

The biggest problem is the dog owners. Pulling dogs is a problem for many. Therefore, recovery is not guaranteed.

The place has been great for 35 years anyway

Unfortunately, the number of dogs 🐕 in the area is significantly increasing. Unfortunately, there are sometimes 2 to 3 dogs per area. This makes it very loud due to constant barking. The owners have been notified several times. The management has also been informed. This has nothing to do with vacations.

Great naturist site in the pine forest, huge, great beach

We were lucky and got a motorhome pitch without a reservation. A prior reservation costs €30 extra. The motorhome pitch costs about €50 per night (2 people including flat electricity). Some pitches are suitable for satellite TV, many are not due to the trees. Evening events take place. Life drawing with live models occurs several times a week. The site is good, large, spacious. There are nice, tidy guests there. Toilets and showers are okay, but not great. There is toilet paper, but no soap! Cleaning occurs several times a day. Hot water, both in the showers and when washing dishes, is a matter of luck. The shopping center and restaurants are good and diverse. Prices are, of course, not cheap. In Montalivet (7 km) there is an Aldi (easily reachable by bike). All in all, Euronat was a fantastic site with a great beach and fantastic waves! Definitely swim!! Unfortunately, there are also some/many people (teenagers) who lay on the beach in swimwear. This should be better prevented by the campsite. There is a very active lifeguard at the beach. A swimming pool (indoor and outdoor, very tidy) is available. The reception is friendly and speaks German. The facility is very spacious, ideal for bicycles. To get to/from Germany, using the Verdon/Royan ferry is advisable under certain circumstances. But: This ferry is VERY expensive! We paid €54 for one trip (NOT round trip) with a motorhome (no matter how big)! Otherwise, you would have to drive via Bordeaux (about 200 km detour). So: Euronat would be great to visit again anytime! Great beach, beautiful facility! Quiet. Bike rental. The shopping/restaurant center is practically dead between 1 PM and 5 PM. Recommendation for the facility!

For 30 Years Euronat

Sanitary facilities were cleaned better until two years ago. Too little toilet paper in the washing houses. Simple solution: install more dispensers. Wi-Fi is a disaster as it is paid, since the mobile network is still in 4G with a maximum of 2 bars. This is not up to date with the prices. Bottom line: prices have continuously risen for 30 years while services have declined. Recreation: 4.5 stars Sanitary and infrastructure: maximum 2 stars.

The site has everything you need. Even toilet seats and paper are available. The restrooms are clean, but it’s dark at night. The dog owners are a big problem. Many let their four-legged friends do their business where others are camping or children are playing in the sand. Some even take them into the showers and restrooms, although dog showers are available. Essential: a bike, otherwise you’ll get blisters from walking. We were at the swimming pool, 3 sunshades for everyone. A disaster, swimming shoes had to be removed. The surface and heat made it hard to walk. The children’s pool is still under construction. For the size of the site, it’s way too small. On the “mile,” there’s barely one restaurant open. The entire site is (compared to other nudist camps) poorly furnished. When you’re on a scooter, you need to watch out for the homemade bumps in the ground; we always got stuck when crossing over them. Stores and restaurants have unexplainable opening hours. We think that the store in July and August does well, but the guests in the pre- and off-season are not sufficiently considered.
