Very unkempt & messy place - partially creepy!!!! Sanitary facilities are poorly cleaned or not at all, disposal of the cassette only for a fee, children's activities almost only for payment, pitches uneven and not mowed, everything is outdated and not maintained in a contemporary manner - staff in the restaurant, however, are very friendly.

There is a lot to offer for children. However, the playground equipment is quite outdated. The machines in the play area are pure rip-offs. The overall facility is poorly maintained. Large holes next to the access road which have turned into big puddles after several rainfalls. The branches of the trees along the paths need to be pruned. They scrape against the camper and cause scratches. The cherry on top was the landfill site. The yellow bins and glass containers were full upon our arrival and were not emptied during our stay (8 days). The smell was enormous. Behind it looked like a junkyard and an abandoned construction site. My conclusion, once and never again.

A great facility, something for everyone. The staff was very friendly, the sanitary facilities huge and clean. There were plenty of hiking trails for my two dogs and me. However, we were still there in the pre-season with super weather. When I return to the region, I will pitch my tent here with a mini camper again.

The offer for children is good, but the adventure farm is a no-go for me. Upon entering, you are met with a sight like that of a scrap dealer. The campsite is rather unkempt and partly very dirty. The pitches are neither mowed nor maintained. The lighting at night is simply non-existent. The paved paths are repeatedly full of holes. The family bathroom has not even been cleaned, and it also had no cleaning supplies, nor toilet paper. The farm shop is a souvenir shop and has neither vegetables, fruit, fresh meat, butter, milk...! The so-called lunch buffet was of inferior quality, and my husband had to pay an additional 3 euros on the 14.50 because, according to the cashier (who was unfriendly), he had too much on his plate - she did, however, offer him to return some of the food from his plate to the buffet (which is simply not acceptable).

We visited the campsite for a weekend. Our pitch was generously sized, with trees providing shade in the afternoon. The ground was topsoil with a few patches of grass, not very nice and a lot of mud. The small lake is an old quarry lake and 17m deep. So it goes steeply in, not entirely safe for children. But there is a shallow water area, which is separated by a chain. The sanitary building is new and very spacious, but unfortunately neglected and dirty. The campsite was perhaps half full during our stay, I don’t want to know what the state is at full capacity. The offer of leisure activities on the site is quite high. You can do lots of ball activities, there are several nice playgrounds and an arcade, it’s similar to a funfair, many colorful machines that all want to be fed with coins. We also tested the restaurant, there was a relatively large selection of ready-made meals, far from fresh and delicious. The dishes were very expensive. The site also includes a so-called experience farm. In summary, it is a dark dirty aviary with about 30 different parakeets inside, a rabbit hutch, also a dark enclosure, where there were more mice visiting than rabbits who had to get by. The poor animals didn’t even have anything to eat, let alone fresh water at temperatures above 30 degrees. Across from it is an enclosure with a llama and two goats, which have been screaming all morning from hunger. I informed the site operator, and the second time someone finally went to the animals and provided them with emergency care. Not a nice experience. All in all, a campsite with potential, which unfortunately is not being utilized. Everything is falling apart and is neglected.

Holiday Park Plötzki: A great campsite for families with a lot of potential for a lovely holiday. An open layout, many play opportunities, and a colorful mix of caravans/mobile homes and tents are some of the main features of this park. Unfortunately, it comes with one or two cosmetic flaws. Pros: - Friendly and knowledgeable staff at the reception - Excellently equipped farm shop with regional products - Freshly renovated sanitary area - Good and affordable bread service - Plenty of play opportunities for children, e.g. playgrounds, bouncy pillows, pony rides (from 2 years and up) - Two swimming lakes, one of which has a large shallow area for playing - Indoor playground for rainy days - Delicious restaurant right on site - Small "experience farm" with animals to feed and admire Cons: - The site sometimes feels very crowded, as there is no spatial separation between the lots - Sanitary facilities are very dirty during peak times - Site/pathways are not sufficiently lit in the dark. - The recycling center becomes heavily strained during the high season. This review reflects only the opinion and taste of the writer. Certainly, there are people who appreciate the open layout. That the sanitary facilities are dirty during peak times is obviously 99% due to the campers themselves. It is unfortunately very sad that so many people seem unable to clean up after themselves. However, this should be compensated by the operator with an increased cleaning frequency. We would definitely come back again.

New sanitary building with small children's bath and toilets. Cleaned daily. Sufficient toilets and showers, so we never had to wait. Very nice recreational offerings for children of all ages. The offerings in the farm shop are perfect. The only drawback is the marking of the pitches. With a lot of imagination, we roughly found our spot. The numbering and boundaries are missing.

Good parking spaces with access to the lake and sanitary facilities. These have been modernized. However, it is not a wellness oasis but sufficient and clean. Many playgrounds for both big and small. Football field and climbing path can be used for free. An indoor adventure park is included at no extra cost. The children can let loose here. Families actually have an adventurous stay here.

The Erlebnispark Plötzky offers adventure-packed camping near Magdeburg in the heart of Saxony-Anhalt: it is particularly popular with families thanks to its large indoor playground and swimming pond. ### Family-friendly campsite with forest park arena and swimming pond The Plötzky holiday park is the perfect place for families who want to experience something while camping in Saxony-Anhalt. The leisure facilities are impressive: When the weather is nice, you can head straight from the flat pitch or holiday home to the beach of the Kleiner Waldsee lake. There is a water slide, a bathing island and a water trampoline. The Waldsee Arena is full of action: the indoor playground offers a bowling alley, bumper cars, a climbing playground and much more. Children and adults can test their sense of balance and dexterity on the outdoor quarry climbing trail under the trees. Or how about a game of adventure minigolf with 18 holes, where accuracy is required? ### First-class service for the whole family From early to late, the Plötzky holiday park offers a varied holiday programme for families. There is an animal enclosure on the wooded campsite. Young holidaymakers love visiting the dwarf goats, rabbits and guinea pigs or watching the alpacas. The restaurant Am Kleinen Waldsee is also fully catered to the needs of younger guests. There is a special menu for children. Parents are welcome to take a seat on the terrace and relax while their children let off steam in the water playground next door.
