Large naturist holiday park with many permanent campers. Guest pitches are gravelled and well sized. Unfortunately, there are far too few parking spaces available for guests. For some pitches, long power cables are required (CEE, 25m). Central water supply and drainage about every 50 to 100 meters. The sanitary facilities are old but clean! Breakfast from the bakery works well. New infusion sauna (85°) with large lounging areas (included / extra charge!). Food is nice and tasty, ready for collection about 10-15 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately, there is a lack of a small shop. The ladies at the reception range from friendly to annoyed. ~50€ per day for 2 persons with a pitch for a caravan in high season I find acceptable.

We were at the site for the first time and were glad to get something spontaneously for the long weekend. We really liked it, the small lake and the tranquility. The sauna and the whirlpool also need to be mentioned positively. Even though our son did not want to participate in the children's activities, it is nice to have an offer for children. I also find the toilet vending machine unnecessary, but it is manageable. The playground needs to be renovated. But we will definitely come by again.

The staff at reception is somewhat friendly, which cannot be said for the management. The spot has been getting worse for years, but is still expensive. At our spot, the grass was about 20 cm high (despite having reserved). It should have been mowed before arrival. The place is very overpriced. Disposing of waste requires a marathon trek. The emptying of the toilet can only be done via a vending machine (of course for a fee of 2.00 €). According to their statement, this had to be done for hygiene reasons. 😂😂 We have visited several campsites in recent years, but none required the toilet to be emptied via a vending machine. Pure scam!!! We have enjoyed staying at the site in the past, but now we will reconsider this.

Unfortunately, almost everything is deteriorating, the playground is rundown, unkempt, and the wood of the play equipment appears moldy and rotten (risk of injury). For a few years (ongoing construction), work has been done on the south restroom building, and now there are bathrooms and shower containers everywhere, with cleanliness also clearly suffering. The staff is friendly, but you can quickly tell who has authority, and then things can get unfriendly very quickly. Not to mention the ruthlessly overpriced Wi-Fi (which hasn’t really worked for years), and you MUST empty the toilets using a machine that also costs money, and if there’s damage to the toilet, liability is not clarified. It feels like only the bare minimum is being done to keep the business running while a lot of money is being drawn out. The place actually has potential because it used to be very nice. I have been coming here for over 15 years and have witnessed the 'decline' and still experience it. I only come here now to see familiar and beloved faces again.

Price-performance is simply overpriced. I would be interested in how they can advertise with so many stars. The advertised offer is available. However, we are used to naturist camping areas being very clean; unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not always found to be so. Since the area has very poor or no mobile reception, one is forced to resort to an overpriced Wi-Fi offer. Unfortunately, this offer is absolutely unusable, no, it's even an outrage and pure rip-off. The staff is constantly overloaded, annoyed, and therefore very unfriendly towards guests. The only positive thing I can say is that children have many play opportunities and peers to play with, making it a small paradise for kids. Therefore, I give it 3 stars.

Fewer and fewer services are being offered and the rental prices are not in proportion to the price

We stumbled here more or less randomly while traveling. We only intended to stay for one night but ended up staying for four nights. The rump steak in the bistro is a dream! The portion and taste are a sensation! Children can have a great time here! There is a children's club until 1:00 PM supervised by qualified staff (KITA management). The lake is beautiful for lingering. The newly paved roads prevent dust (as mentioned in some reviews). Cleanliness in the sanitary facilities is very good. The only thing that bothered me was that I had to pay extra for the trailer. The internet is expensive, but I was told upon inquiry that due to the lack of infrastructure regarding the internet connection from Telekom, only a connection with a maximum of 3000 kbit is possible here. For this reason, they switched to an external provider. The problems regarding the service of this internet company are known to the operators. They are working to improve this to a higher level. Super nice permanent residents, we have made great acquaintances here. The staff is friendly and competent.

We have been to the DLE for the third time this summer. We really like the place and its location. The high number of permanent campers and weekend homes is not a disadvantage. On the contrary, from the second year onwards we were welcomed like good neighbors. Unfortunately, I must also say that the bistro has noticeably deteriorated since the management change. The standard is more that of an upscale fries stand with relatively high prices. An ice cream sundae is almost unaffordable. What a shame! Overall, the price trend has gone up. For the many Swiss at the site, this is probably not a cause for concern or criticism, but for ordinary German earners, it is a significant point. The Wi-Fi is a disaster, and that is doubly tragic, as there is no good network reception near the French border either. Nevertheless, we will go there again, as we feel comfortable overall at this site and with its people and enjoy the sauna and the natural swimming area very much.
