In a picturesque mountain landscape on the banks of the Drau, the Draucamping Sachsenburg campsite offers active recreation in the Carinthian countryside. The family-friendly site with mobile homes and pitches for motorhomes and caravans is located in the Austrian market town of Sachsenburg, which is considered the gateway to the Upper Drau Valley. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. An adventure swimming pool in the forest is a ten-minute walk away and is free of charge for campsite guests. The holiday complex offers a children's playground, a reading corner and various ball sports such as tennis. Guided hikes and cycling excursions are organised once a week. Tours on the Drau cycle path, which runs along the dark green, shimmering river, are particularly attractive. Lake Millstätter See, 25 kilometres away, is also a discovery.

Flat meadow terrain with extensive, medium-height vegetation, some older deciduous trees also at the edge of the site. Located on the outskirts, between the sports facilities and the river Drau. Beyond the river, there is a railway line (train traffic from 6 am to 10 pm). Views of wooded hills.

Quiet campsite without much frills
👍 Very calm, not muddy despite the rain. Campsite/Rental accommodation: Large grassy pitches 👎 Toilets could use a second cleaning.

Next to a football field, swimming pool, game room, mountains Pitch/Rental Accommodation: Everything, air conditioning, heating, terrace, sun loungers Reception did not mention the sandwich service for Sunday on Saturday, shower drain clogged with hair
