Domaine de Lac de Chambon

The terrain is wonderfully varied! One part is flat and designed with hedges and tall poplars. If you prefer a more wooded feel, there are terraces on a steeply sloping hillside in the pine forest. From some pitches, you even have a great view of the lake.

You have a free choice! The campsite is located directly on Lac Chambon and offers a great swimming opportunity at the lake with a sandy beach. If you prefer swimming in a pool, we have good news: there is an outdoor pool and a paddling pool for children directly on site.

Good to know: The sanitary facilities vary in quality, as some areas are a bit older. But there are great extras: you can use the leisure facilities of the adjacent hotel complex. The beautiful sandy beach is only separated from the campsite by this hotel complex.

Since the campsite is currently not bookable directly through PiNCAMP and we do not have daily updated prices, we have summarised the most important cost factors for you:

• Dogs: Are allowed on the campsite.
• Electricity: Connections with 6 to 16 amps are available at the pitches.
• Wi-Fi: You can use it in the reception and restaurant areas.
• Additional costs: Tourist tax or local fees may apply on site.

Arriving by car with a caravan is easily manageable, as the campsite is located in the beautiful town of Murol. Since part of the terrain is terraced on a steeply sloping hillside, you should definitely pack good levelling ramps for your caravan or motorhome to perfectly compensate for any unevenness.

You certainly won't go hungry here! Directly on the campsite, there is a cosy restaurant and a snack bar for a quick bite. In the morning, the practical bread roll service spoils you with fresh baked goods. For larger purchases, there is a grocery store on site and a supermarket 10 km away.
