The beautiful environment, the tranquility, and the cleanliness of the areas. Location/Accommodation: Nice "cabin" space in this somewhat hybrid tent made of fabric and wood.
Location/Accommodation: Create the possibility to air out the tent and allow air circulation. Equip it with mosquito nets.

The place is very calm and car-free. The swimming pool is very large. Site/Rental Accommodation: Very spacious and comfortable.
At the reception, it wasn't clear where it was upon arrival. Site/Rental Accommodation: It gets a bit hot inside this season. Basic necessities like oil, salt, and pepper are missing.

The beauty of the site and the promised calm. Location/Accommodation: The space.
It should not be allowed to accept a group of 7 teenagers with only one mother. The kids are left to themselves and pass through our space all day long and until midnight. They urinate on their spot and talk very loudly until a late hour.

After a very pleasant welcome, we settled into one of the suggested pitches. We felt totally at ease. The family atmosphere was very much to our liking. The site served as a source of strength for us, a place we would love to return to. Pitch/rental accommodation: An extremely beautiful pitch with trees for both shade and sun. This spot leaves no wishes unfulfilled.

A great family-friendly campsite that is small enough to feel cozy, where everything is designed for enjoying all the activities freely. Canoes and bikes are available for free use, as well as table tennis paddles. The setting is enchanting, and the pool is ideal for young and old alike. There are sociable areas around the campfire, and no cars are allowed within the campsite. Simply the best!!!
It would be beneficial to position the reception at the campsite entrance and to improve the lighting on the paths. Everything else is perfect! Regarding the location/rental accommodation: the 160 cm bed takes up a lot of space in the passage to the children's room. A 140 cm bed would have been more suitable.

CosyCamp is an ecological campsite in the French Auvergne and comprises a 4.5-hectare, car-free park. Its location directly on the beautiful River Loire offers many opportunities for activities from swimming to canoeing - so enterprising families, those seeking relaxation, outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers are in good hands here.
The campsite is located on the River Loire in the idyllic Auvergne region in the heart of France. The charming medieval village of Chamalières-sur-Loire is just 2 kilometres away. CosyCamp offers a choice of different categories of pitches, all of which are very spacious. The nature variant is not clearly demarcated and has no electricity connection. All of the other 57 pitches are parcelled out and are either 100 square metres or even 200 square metres in size and offer a 16 ampere power connection. There is also free Wi-Fi and three well-maintained sanitary blocks. If you wish, you can unwind in the wellness area with its Roman-style indoor pool with counter-current system or relax with a massage. The special feature and meeting point at CosyCamp is the lounge, which also houses the reception, bar and restaurant in the basement. Here guests can get to know each other and find out about the campsite's offers and excursion destinations in the region. The cosy barefoot area with carpet, television and play corner is located on the upper floor. In addition, the terrace invites you to spend cosy summer evenings by the Swedish fire. There are also designated areas on the campsite where campers can make a campfire or barbecue together as a family or with other guests.
The beach on the River Loire is right in front of the campsite. Holidaymakers can also hire canoes to explore the natural surroundings. The large grounds of the CosyCamp are ideal for walks and bird watching, as well as for visiting the vegetable and aromatic garden. There is also a playground and a climbing park for children. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking or cycling tours, for which guests can borrow maps from reception. The historic village of Chamalières-sur-Loire, which dates back to the 12th century, is just 1.5 km away on foot. Around 40 minutes away by car is the medieval town of Le Puy-en-Velay, where visitors can visit the cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
