Good City Campsite.

If you can book online thanks to a good connection, everything is great. If not, there's the stress of whether you will get a spot. Spots are sufficiently large, sanitation facilities are simple but clean. Supplies were a bit scarce in the off-season. The location to the city is awesome thanks to the St. Anna tunnel or the free ferry.

Good location, decent site

The place is only separated from the city center by the Scheldt. There are many tall trees, resulting in a lot of bird droppings. Sanitary facilities are good and clean. Hot water is only available at a few dishwashing stations. It is advisable to make an online reservation. You will receive a door code that allows you to access the site before 3 PM. The reception is staffed only from 3 PM. By bike, you can reach the old town in 10 minutes through the tunnel. At the tunnel, you go down by elevator or escalators - very worth seeing! Mobile reception at the site is good, satellite reception as well, provided there are no trees in the way. For a motorhome of 7 - 10 m, a small plot is sufficient. The larger size costs €5,- per night extra. Antwerp can be explored well by bike. But after 3 days, I had enough.

I can't really understand the bad reviews. The campsite is well located. Prices are reasonable and the facility is clean. I found the sanitary facilities absolutely okay.

The place is good... but...

Well suited for visiting the city. Pleasant location, friendly, helpful staff. Great connection with the water bus. Bus stop 5 minutes away, 10 minutes to the center. But: the sanitary facilities are totally outdated and too few. They are kept clean with difficulty, but the stench around is terrible. It is a municipal campsite and completely incomprehensible that this wonderful city of Antwerp is not interested in modernizing.

Absolutely a compromise solution if you want to visit Antwerp with a campervan. The goods: Easy check in, good located to visit Antwerp by bike. We felt not very comfortable, overall it was a filthy place and there are some strange people around. Looks like some of them are living there. Facilities outworn and never seen them cleaned. Be aware, the campground is still in the LEZ.

No toilet paper available, no way to get change for the washing machine but a nice looking spot.

Very simple, rather poorly maintained place. Power distributor broken and one of the three showers for ladies was broken. Location was great for exploring Antwerp by bike.
