Super location right by the beach, small but nice place, very affordable in the off-season

We were there without a reservation and were received warmly. The camping site is well maintained with nice pitches. The sanitary facilities were always clean. There is a large, wheelchair accessible shower. The beach is very close. There is a large pool with a children's area. The camping restaurant has a small appealing menu and takeaway. St. Jean de Luz can be reached on foot in about 50 minutes. Many cycling tours are possible.

Very friendly reception at the front desk, it wasn't like that everywhere on our journey. Large pitch, sanitary facilities a bit outdated and small, but clean at all times. Small beach in immediate proximity. Nice beach bars as well. Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Biarritz are easily accessible via bike paths or on foot. Quiet at night, occasionally you can hear the train line.

A good starting point for excursions (e.g., by bike) in Saint Jean de Luz. However, it is a very tight space, the sanitary facilities are clean but undersized. With longer trailers, one should not drive up to the reception; one must make a complete turn in an extremely narrow space further hindered by parked vehicles, and then drive back onto the street, as the actual access points are a bit further down the street. Compared to other sites in the area, it is the quietest located.
