Refreshing stay! The chalet is very well equipped, and the children greatly enjoyed the available games (punching bag, ping pong table, slide, ...). We will gladly return to this little piece of nature! Location/Rental accommodation: Great spa and very well-equipped chalet

A week of tranquility in a green and heavily wooded setting, at the edge of a meadow and forest, very quiet. Location/Rental Accommodation: The brightness inside the cottage (very large glazed area), the view of the Biron castle, wood as a very warm building material, an efficient heating system, absolute silence (you can hear the birds singing), quality bedding and comforters, a well-designed and practical kitchen.

Cons

Very rainy week, and the floor of the cabin gets dirty quickly with a less effective vacuum cleaner (compared to the one at our home). Location/Rental Accommodation: A few extra utensils would be appreciated.

Pros

We love this little corner of paradise. The chalets are spacious with warm decor and fully equipped... chalets in the middle of the woods. In autumn, the colors are stunning. Location/Rental accommodation: The view of the castle is fabulous. The cooking area is very spacious with the bedrooms downstairs. The master bedroom opens directly onto the field, and with a bit of luck, we can see animals wandering around in the morning.

We had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed quality time with our family. The welcome was friendly, and the surroundings were pleasant in the middle of nature and calm. On a rainy weekend, the jacuzzi was greatly appreciated by the whole family. Location/Rental accommodation: the chalet was very clean, well-designed, and thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary kitchen items. We loved it!

👌 We spent 10 days in the safari tent Bonaguil. The tent was tidy and fully equipped. There is a lot to do and see in the area, but you need a car (there is no shop within walking distance). We experienced this when our car had to be towed. A big thank you for the help, Jeff. We had to arrange a taxi to pick up the replacement car, and we couldn't have done it without your assistance. Castelwoord is small-scale, but everything is available (the snack bar is closed out of season). A swimming pool, board games, and outdoor activities like table tennis, and above all, plenty of peace and greenery. Site/Rental Accommodation: It is very nice that there is a dishwasher available. Everything else was neat and complete. Nice shower. Site/Rental Accommodation: I found the mattress quite hard; for my husband, that was fine. Excellent stay in complete tranquility, location close to castles and bastides, possibilities for cycling routes on little-travelled roads. Accommodation: Very beautiful cottage, in the middle of nature, with quality fixtures and perfectly maintained. Very warm welcome, with visit advice. We do not hesitate to recommend Castelwood. For enthusiasts, in autumn deer roaring and mushrooms are available.
